I really wanted to upgrade to some new Headphones, I owned some Pioneer DJ Headphones that were around 10-12 Years old & these looked like a Nice Upgrade. My Old Headphones still worked good, although the Foam padding was aged. I ordered these from Amazon & they was also the best price I could find online. I got the parcel & couldn’t wait to see how good they sounded. At first, I checked them over for any marks or scratches & they was the perfect build quality & control. They had a nice weight to them and felt good in the hand with the Metal Finishing, they should also stay on my head, especially as I might use them Cycling, the grip is slightly firm which is also good for Cycling, but, the Grip should also loosen up a bit after some use.I like to listen to Trance Music, sometimes Vocal, this can be very Bassy with lots of high Trebles and I do love Bass & high notes.1st Impression is just Pure amazing sound. The Bass is very powerful and you can really feel it. You can also hear the different bass levels from the Drums and some really good mid and treble vocals without any distortion. I was using a little mini media player and you can also alter some settings and add a Bass Boost, which I did, which gave even more Thumping to the Bass. Some people may say it is Too much Bass, so you could always alter the Equalizer settings a bit. I did listen to a few tracks and at one point, managed to get goosebumps on my arms and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, I could really feel the energy from the music & the quality of the sound managed to do this. I can’t compare these to any other Brand of Headphones in this price bracket, as I don’t own others except cheaper ones which sound naff compared to these. The current retail price is around £180, which I think is justified, the quality of these in your hand and they should also last for many Years. The Sound quality is amazing, I did listen to some tracks for a few minutes and had the volume up quite high. I can feel my eardrums also had a workout too. I am sure after a long period at these levels you can do some serious damage to your ear drums and hearing. Turning the volume down to safe levels, you can just feel the quality in the sound. Would I recommend these, of course I would. You really need to appreciate the quality of these and the metal finish in parts as well. As above, these Headphones are Very Bassy with no Distortion, if you need a Bass & Subwoofer fix from the old days, these are perfect too. Just go easy or your Hearing might get damaged, seriously they are that good. I also said I might use them for Cycling, the problem with this is I felt the music sounded just too good with these, you could easily get distracted into it and have an accident. The quality of the sound just immerses you into another level. I do currently use cheaper headphones for cycling, so these wouldn’t make a comparison to them. But, if they was compared, these are Mind Blowingly good and you can take my word for it. I have been listening to Trance & Music for 30+ Years.
