It arrived in excellent condition and worked perfectly!
I needed a new PC to replace my old one so I could finally upgrade to Windows 11. This seemed to be a very good buy and it was returnable so I decided to purchase one. That was a great decision! I feel like I saved hundreds of dollars v.s. buying a new PC. Here’s my PROS and CONSOVERALL:Really and truly, I was VERY impressed with this PC, its price and great flexibilityPROS:- Arrived in perfect condition. Not a ding or a scratch anywhere- All items described as included (the keyboard, mouse and USB WiFi adapter) were all brand new- When I opened the case, I was thrilled to discover that the 2TB drive was actually an NVMe SSD drive, which means very fast boot up and application startup, among other benefits- I wanted to install at least one additional drive from my old computer, and found that there were TWO additional (SATA) data ports free for additional drive expansion ** (see notes below)- Windows 11 Pro was pre-installed and activated which saved some of time during setup- I was concerned that there might be a virus hiding around somewhere. This can happen on refurbished computers and even *new* computers, especially from *hina. I set this up on a private network, connected to the internet but not to my home network. I ran extensive virus scans from several different anti-virus programs that I have, over more than a week with not a single virus to be found.- I upgraded the WiFi from the included slower USB WiFi to an onboard, blazingly fast, M2 2230 adapter which also allowed the one extra PCIe expansion slot to be kept free for later add-ons if needed- The fact that it is a Dell PC enables great ongoing support for updated software and drivers, all from Dell instead of a potentially suspicious 3rd party- I was able to easily register the PC on the Dell web site as the new owner. This allowed me to see that warranty had expired on this PC only a couple of months ago! I also got some immediate software and firmware updates from Dell, all free and specifically for this exact model.- It is an SFF format (Small Form Factor), but I knew that going in. SFF has a great footprint for use on a desk top and can be placed flat or on its edge. There are rubber feet on the bottom and one side to help prevent slippingCONS:- The primary limitation of an SFF design is in the type and number of PCIe expansion slots. But with the WiFi card and the primary SSD being mounted on the motherboard, and not taking up limited other expansion options, this should not be a concern for most others- The included WiFi adapter works fine but is slower than a WiFi adapter installed inside the PC, and with external antennas, which the USB adapter does not have- ** The PC was shipped with the internal HDD tray NOT included or any SATA cables to connect additional drives with. This was not mentioned in the listing. However both the tray and the cables are easily obtained for a modest cost both on Amazon and from other popular auction style online selling platforms. Also a SATA power splitter would be need if your installing more than one additional drive
