Like new, but without the Microsoft box
The Surface looked like new condition. It ships only with a generic power supply. I was replacing a broken surface, so I already had a dock and Type Cover. Excellent purchase!

Cracked screen and won’t charge.
Item arrived with 4% battery. When I plugged in the charger, it would not charge. Then I discovered a crack on the screen. It was obviously not “renewed ” Amazon’s service and quality have been steadily declining. I guess everything has an expiration date.

I ordered this renewed tablet from Amazon and I couldnât be happier. There wasnât any dings and scratches on the tablet at all. Works great. The only thing that was bothering me was the on screen keyboard. So I had to order a keyboard to go with it. But thatâs a me problem, not anything to do with the tablets function.Edit: My daughter saw mine and had me order her one. It came in the same shape mine did. No scratches or dings anywhere. She loves it. Couldnât be happier

It was as advertised and was in good shape for a refurbished tablet. I’ve never bought a refurbished device but straight out of the box it performed as expected. Time will tell if it lasts. It was securely packaged and arrived on time. A signature was required upon delivery so every effort was made to ensure secure delivery. Happy customer.

Impressive computer, but battery issues
I got this several months ago to use as a way to display my music while I perform. I didn’t expect much of the device, but was pleasantly surprised at its speed and ability to run Adobe software. The size was ideal, and I was more than pleased with it. However recently it started showing serious glitches. Specifically it shuts down when I remove the charger cable, and it will not start up again until I reattach it. I went through diagnostics and various resets and while I think the issue is probably software (specifically a driver for the battery) I have given up on the idea of fixing it. It’s still a really good computer – but no longer portable. This does leave me gun shy about the whole Surface line, unfortunately.

Great
I got this for work. Great for someone that is mobile. I’m in the Navy and this has allowed me to do everything I needed for work when I couldn’t get to a computer on base. I also use this for school and it has been a nice portable life saver. I love it. I bought mine used and haven’t had any issues. I’m very careful with it so I don’t imagine that I would have any issues in the future. I’ll update if I do.
