Great desk and well worth the money.
This is a great sturdy desk that I use for my Gaming set up. The LED lights look and work great and the power strip is a great addition. Easy set up with straightforward directions. I had no difficulty although I recommend having a second person help. I do wish the set came with washers, but other than that, great desk, and product overall.ConstructionThe instructions are very straight forward however you have to really pay attention to the details. Make sure the holes are in the right spot and everything is facing the same direction as shown in the instructions. I built this desk by myself, but I would have a second person helping, especially with holding pieces up and setting up the second layer.Note that this desk can be built 2 ways, the 2nd way is just mirroring the 1st design. I would make sure to measure the area and decide which way you want the desk constructed. I would note if you want your PC to rest on the bottom shelf or if you plan to use a stand for your pc under the desk. I would also note that when prompted to install the power extender, make sure to put in the screw BEFORE putting the 2nd layer desk on top otherwise it would be very difficult to put in the screws unless you have a very short screwdriver. I wish that the kit came with washers. I wanted to buy washers as soon as I noticed that there were none as I was afraid to bend the metal when screwing them in. I was not sure if the screws were made big enough to fasten properly if they had washers but having built the desk, can confirm they would work fine with the washers. (I did not bend the metal while building the desk)LED Lights/Power StripThe LED lights are packaged with the table but you have to attach them after you finish building the table. Highly recommend having a second person help. The lights are easy control with the remote however there are no instructions that explain the buttons. If you plan on doing anything besides using one of the 20 colors, there are videos online the explains all the buttons. The LED lights can connect to the power strip that comes with the desk however the cord sticks downward so you would either be covering another outlet or the USB ports on the power strip.Decorating/using deskThe desk itself is very stable, the design of the surface (black) looked very obnoxious and distracting in the pictures, but having it in person, the design is neither distracting nor obnoxious. There are headphone holders for the side of the desk that can be screwed onto either side of the table no matter which way you build it, although I haven’t used them.Anything else to buy?I would recommend getting washers for the screws if you’re afraid to bend the metal or enjoy using washers. If you plan on having this desk on hardwood floor, I recommend getting scratch pads or floor protectors.

Let’s be clear; this desk isn’t going to win any ‘sturdiest desk of the year’ awards. That being said it’s stable enough for our needs (light-duty office). I did add some stick-on rubber bumpers so it doesn’t make so much noise banging the wall, and I may look at affixing it to the wall with brackets so that it’s more solid. It does have adjustable floor levelers, and the built in power bar, headphone hooks, and LED lighting are all nice features. I found it relatively easy to assemble (instructions seemed clear/simple), and I think it looks relatively nice. The overall fit & finish of all the pieces were all quite good, and I had no issues. We actually bought it at a sale price, so feel it was very good value for the money. Would give it an overall rating of 5/5 (but with the note that it’s not the sturdiest of desks). Would recommend.

First thing I’ll say is that you aren’t likely to find anything that compares to this desk at the price point I bought at. This desk is sturdy enough for typical use and you won’t see any problems with structure unless you’re doing something desks aren’t made for anyway. It can easily support dual or triple monitor setups, as long as you aren’t using CRT monitors (though you’d have a tough time fitting those on this desk anyway).The LEDs were not preinstalled which initially made me groan, but I quickly recognized the benefit. I could test them prior to install and if there was a problem, I could replace just the LEDs rather than the whole shelf. The LED strip install was incredibly easy, amounting to little more than peel, place, and plug. The “white” setting is incredibly blue-hued, though some minor adjustments on the remote can bring you closer to true white or something even a little warmer.The build went fairly smoothly, but boy you better follow those instructions precisely if you want the predrilled holes to line up. Do not fully tighten any screws until all the pieces are installed. Even then, I’ve run into some minor alignment issues where one piece of the desk top is offset, but this is only on the front side. The desk surface is all level. The build took a little longer than expected, but was done in about 2 hours.The lower shelf is perfect for your standard ATX tower PC but beware if you have any IO on the top of your case; you only have about 1/2 inch clearance, making top IO ports inaccessible if you have them. However, this still leaves plenty of room for airflow, so there’s not problem in that regard at least.Finally, if you want to display your PC on top of your desk, you’re gonna have a bad time. The upper shelf is about an inch too narrow to place an ATX case on securely, and no portion is long enough to place a pc in the front-to-back configuration.Finally, I had some trouble with one of my monitor stands fitting on the upper shelf, leaving it in a precarious position if a cat were to walk by. I ended up buying a dual-arm mount for the set up in the picture, which worked very well with the desk.Most of my concerns were known to me when I purchased the desk as the seller is very clear with their measurements and labeling in photographs, so I’m definitely not complaining; I just want others to know what to expect.All in all, 4/5 stars considering it is solid for its price point, but there are more solid options out there if you have the budget to account for construction.

Bought the desk for my grandson great quality looks fantastic watch the instructions had to take apart and rebuild too funny but overall he really loves the desk
