Nice looking but some challenges
I recently purchased the Motorola Voice D8713 Cordless Phone System and have mixed feelings about it. While the system does offer some decent features, there are several drawbacks that make it less than ideal for daily use. One of the most noticeable issues is the button sensitivity; you have to press them quite hard to produce a DTMF tone, which is unlike any other phone system I’ve owned. This can be frustrating when dialing numbers or navigating through menus.Speaking of navigation, the user interface is not as intuitive as I would have liked. For instance, finding the call log is more complicated than it should be, requiring multiple steps that aren’t immediately obvious. Additionally, the battery life is disappointing. The batteries seem to deplete much faster than those in my previous phone system, necessitating frequent recharging.Overall, while the Motorola Voice D8713 has some merits, these issues make it hard for me to be 100% satisfied with the product. If you’re considering this phone system, be prepared for a learning curve and keep your charger handy.

Good phone overall
Bought this because our old cordless DECT/network style phone was just falling apart. We did Panasonic twice before then AT&T branded setups but none were that good and I wanted something different. This system looked interesting from the start with a clean, sleek appearance. In use, it has been ”good” with large buttons, easy to read screens, and good-sounding, built-in ringers. The bases, even the home one, are slim and don’t look like the typical bulky plastic ones out there. Some things to consider though: the buttons are large but flat and sit flush with one another making them hard to feel by touch. Despite being large and square you still have to look directly at the buttons to hit the keys. The phone seems to go into a low power mode and/or requires a button press to wake-activate. This means you need to press a button first before it accepts further button commands.The speaker phone is the same button as ”on” so it’s two presses, there’s no dedicated speakerphone switch. If you’re good with electronics it’s not an issue but for others who can’t remember these points it might be annoying.

Calls in and out, no other working features
This is the most confusing and “dumb” set of phones we’ve ever had. the three phones are all set to the same ringtone, yet ring different tones. if you need to look through your call list and retrieve a phone number these phones are NOT for you. the call list is never correct and will skip entire days. when you save a number in contacts it’s useless, because when the person calls their name doesn’t show on the “caller ID.” so basically there isn’t caller ID, there isn’t a call log and you don’t really get to choose your ringtone or even have them match the other phones tones. what a mess.

I have always loved Motorola.
I love everything about this phone. It does exactly what it says it does. I had one similar to this that was a Motorola a few years back and it was a great phone. It preformed flawlessly for years til I got divorced and gave him everything. Then I lost touch with it. Lol So far this one too has been awesome. It’s so easy to use and it seems to charge quickly.

Great phone & answering machine
I purchased this Motorola phone and answering machine to replace a 16 year phone that no longer kept a charge. I just love the feature on the answering machine that lets you set it to answer only. The only calls we get on landline are telemarketers and now they donât have the option to leave message. But instead it now says we are not available and to call back later. The style of phone is very modern and it has many features my last phone didnât offer. Iâm very happy with it.

Excellent system. Of course there are a lot of functions to learn how to use, but it is normal for any sophisticated system.The sound quality is as good as it can be for a DECT6.0 system : 97% of the quality of the best corded phone that I also own. That is what I expected from Motorola.The pairing to a cell phone via Bluetooth allows to copy all the contacts from the smartphone: what a great idea!Well lighted, great for night use. The handsets have a nice shape : easy to hold.It is strange that this model does not have many reviews on the internet. It deserves to be flagged as an excellent cordless phone!I would recommend and I would buy again.

Pero las cosas claras la pantalla podrÃa ser mejor y más grande además de le falta personalización pero en realidad lo más negativo es que la baterÃa no le dura nada y debe estar siempre conectado además de que si ya estas en una llamada cambiar del altavoz al teléfono o viceversa se cuelga la llamada me refiero al modulo que tiene para contestadora de mensajes tiene altavoz y su volumen es deficiente más sin embargo a mi esto no me molesta pero es algo importante si a ti si te gusta hablar en altavoz y por último tiene conexión Bluetooth y sincronizarlos con tu teléfono y responder llamadas de tu teléfono directamente desde el teléfono esa fue lo mejor funcion.Ãltimo se raya de solo mirarlo es negro piano de nuevo muy bonito pero después de 1 año de usó parece que tiene 10 años de usó todo maltratado.
