Best earbuds I’ve every bought
Seriously, these are the best pair of wireless earbuds I’ve ever bought. The sound quality is fantastic and I can hear everything clearly even on the lowest volume with my sensitive ears, they fit really well and are extremely comfortable to use, their battery life before needing to be charged is ten hours total and five hours individually.

Updated review:I was contacted by customer support about my original set of earbuds purchased and was offered a new set. I took them up on this because I was hoping that the battery life on the originals was just a fluke. I spent the next several weeks testing out the new set to see how they compared.Overall, my opinion hasn’t changed. They have decent sound and microphone. They tend to make my ears hurt and can fall out randomly after several hours of wearing, but that’s likely just the shape of my ears. The battery life, however, is indeed better. I was able to sit through multiple hour-long calls and all-day music listening without them dying, so it looks like my original pair was a dud. Since that was really my only big complaint, I upped my rating from 2 stars to 4.————————————————————————————————————————–Original review:I was really hopeful for these headphones. The sound is not too bad, especially for a pair of headphones less than $100. The bass isn’t as deep as I would have liked but it didn’t sound tinny or cheap. The microphone is okay as well; I was told I sounded a little far away from my microphone but everyone could hear me well enough.The battery life, however, is dismal. I’ve used both a wired and wireless fast charger to charge up the case, as well as use the case daily to recharge the ear pods, and no matter what I’ve done, the batteries don’t last more than a few hours of listening to music or an hour on a phone call.These are also not the most comfortable ear pods to use. I’ve tried using a few different sizes of the tips but I couldn’t find any that were comfortable over longer periods of time (3+ hours). These would also pop out of my ears at random points in time; gardening, sitting on the couch, walking the dog.

Deeply disappointing sound quality. Tinny, bass almost non-existent.
I am a bassist and use Monster cables for my basses as well as for my wired speakers because they are reliable and top quality, with excellent music reproduction. So I was expecting more from these Monster wireless earbuds. The design, comfort, price, packaging and setup are excellent. But what is most important, the sound quality is extremely lacking and a major disappointment. They sound quite tinny, here the high frequencies but the lows/bass almost non-existent. I compared these on the same song with my son’s Apple AirPods and there is no comparison. In hindsight, I would have spent the extra money and gotten the Apple AirPods instead.

Vendor Harassing
***UPDATED MATCH***UPDATED FEB. 24, 2022***Vendor rep just emailed me asking that I upgrade my product review rating after I gave them my honest review of the product. I find this to be harassment and in poor taste. If the product is substandard, no amount of harassment is going to make me change my review. In fact, it makes the entire operation look unprofessional.**UPDATED NOV. 28, 2021**I was surprised to be hearing from Monster customer service after I had already received my refund from Amazon. They offered to send me replacement buds at no expense. I thought that was very generous of them and I promised I would give them a fair review once I had in the event I may have received a damaged set the first time.So while they get a star for their exceptional customer service, the buds themselves, well…Pairing was just as straightforward and simple as the first time and I had been using them for maybe an hour and was pleased with how they sounded until…. The audio started clipping once again during certain songs. Very noticeable to the point that it’s either damaged drivers in the bud speakers or some distortion induced by the buds themselves. And just to confirm it wasn’t a poorly formatted audio track, I repeated the offending track on these buds as well as another older pair and over-the-ear traditional headphones. The other devices had no issues with the track during playback. Deduct a star for choppy audio playback and we’re back to square one.***Where to begin…The packaging looks really slick, makes you feel you’re getting your money’s worth. That feeling doesn’t last.While the presentation looks good, there’s laughably little in the box in terms of documentation. You get a users booklet but only about 4 pages of basic info before it changes to a different language. Yes, you get directions on how to pair and it’s surprisingly easy. It seems as soon as the lid is rotated, it goes into pairing mode. Search for the ear buds on your phone and pair them to. It’s that easy. But before all that, as soon as I pulled the case out of the package, I plug it in to fully charge. It shows 3 of the 4 LEDs and after about an hour, I’m at full charge.I pair the buds to my phone but, for whatever reason only the left bud is working. I hold the button on the right bud and it powers up and immediately gives me a low battery warning. The left bud is fine though. That’s weird.I put them back in the case, back on the charger for a couple more hours and try it again. So far, so good in that they’re playing and holding a charge.But it’s in their playback that’s driving me crazy. There is some kind of distortion in the left earbud. It’s not there all the time but during certain tracks, it’s very pronounced. And to verify it wasn’t random, I’d rewind and it back again and the distortion is still there at the same point in the songs. And no, I’m not even driving the audio. Probably around the 20% volume. I don’t know if it’s a defective unit or what but they’re going back.
