Completely stopped working after 3 months
Worked good at first. Had some problems playing N64 and PSP gameplay but whatever. It just completely stopped working one day. It starts up with the R40S logo and then flashes and black screens.

We’ve had this game for a month now. Everything seems to be working just fine so far. The kids love all the different games but Kirby is their favorite right now.

If u like playing games like pokemon you can forget this product. Got mines a few days ago, played a few hrs of pokemon, saved and loaded the file great for a DAY. Next day I loaded my file and the game froze. Had to reset many times to realize it will no longer load any of my saved files. Also, some games appear glitchy and speaker has a lot of distortion during play. Some games are in Japanese so it’s useless. I dont read or write japanese. Some games are slow to load causing the R40s to crash and freeze. Feels cheap in hand. Buy at your own risk. Looks great, but actually very cheap and glitchy.

Amazing Machine
Great value device man! Has literally thousands of games, works great, and has all the nostalgia that you could ever dream of. Does not have diddy Kong racing, but it does have mariokart 64

cool little device, could be better, but bad seller
While the device is not bad, it lost some stars due to its form factor and the seller. the device itself is smaller in my hands than anticipated, it is really uncomfortable using it for an extended period of time. also, the triggers are awkwardly placed and require effort to actually click them, games using them are not going to be very fun unless you find someway to get used to it. the device does work though, the screen is pretty good, battery life not bad, speakers suck. it emulates the games it came with pretty well, there are some hiccups but its not bad at handling stuff. my biggest issue however comes with the sd card. a 256 gig card is advertised to come with the card, inserted into the card is a “LEXAR” sd card labeled as such, 256 gb. when checking the partitions on my PC, I learned the sd card doesn’t even have 90gb of usable space. they ripped me off. I reached out to amazon and get a credit for the price of the correct size sd card but I will not trust this seller with my money again.

Not as good as advertised
For the money I spent on this thing its pretty useless. The save game function doesnât seem to work at all and the save state in the system itself is glitchy. There is no online support to get help with my issues nor is there a website that Iâve been able to find to fix the problem myself. Iâm fairly experienced with tech and canât figure out how to solve the basic issues Iâm having and for 75 dollars I canât justify having this system in my possession.
