The two hinge / pivot points are firm; you can adjust them with no problem but when you put your phone on it, it does NOT sag. The pads on the bottom keep it in place; you can tap on your screen and it does NOT start sliding around my desk. And it’s attractive.

It worked well enough to buy a second one for my night stand.I have a larger phone in a case and holding it for a long session gets old. Something that became apparent to me right away is, I like it as a place to keep the phone when not in use, with room for my charge cable. It’s sturdy enough to type on it with a stylus, or chat hands free . It does fold to be very compact but I have seldom had to use that. My thick heavy duty case has plenty of room, unlike another I tried. The kickstand that is part of the case has never been very usable because it doesn’t allow much position adjustment, This stand is very versatile. Vertical or horizontal.Good Stand.

The biggest issue I’ve had with the different stands I’ve tried to date is that none of the makers seem to recognize that some people use large phones and like to use a case to protect them, so the seat of the stand is never quite big enough to hold the phone securely. I use a big phone in a protective case and finding a good stand to securely hold it has been a challenge. No more searching.This stand is perfect:- Fits the phone and case securely with plenty of room to spare – no fear of the phone falling out.- Made of metal so it’s heavy and very sturdy – I can use the phone easily while it’s in the stand without the stand sliding around on the desk.- Can be adjusted precisely, and any way I like – tilt, up, down, forward, backward.- No-slip rubber feet.- Looks nice.One note: At first I thought there was something wrong with the stand because it comes folded flat and takes a little force to open it up and adjust it, but that’s part of the sturdiness.I’m rarely this impressed with a product but this one got everything right. I’ll be ordering 2 more. Highly recommended.
