May not be able to reset for use…
I ordered two of these. The first one worked fine (at least so far). I was pleased that it came with power supply as well as ethernet cable – everything needed.The second one, however, wasted a lot of my time. Apparently somewhere deep in the configuration it has a reset to load an old configuration off the network. This configuration will set a password (not the default admin), disable the web interface, and go into a setup routing waiting for user ID/Credentials. I can reset to factory defaults (hold ok button 10 sec) and it will re-load clean config (back to admin/admin credentials, web server working, etc) but as soon as it can get out to the internet (network working), it will re-load whatever that old config is and start asking for username again. Basically bricks the unit.So, one of the two received worked. Second one is effectively bricked so I’m returning it. I tried to get tech support from seller (A4C Online) but despite being within their working hours, I just get message that it is outside hours etc…I’m not sure what to recommend here other than be aware there is a chance of a useless phone being sent (note, absolutely no instructions in box btw) and if you are not familiar with how they work you may waste a bunch of time trying to get it working.
