(EDIT: 5/5 Stars. Testing on both my Quest 2 and Quest 3 VIA Link Cable and SteamVR, the trackers work GREAT After the newest updates. I now only have to recalibrate once in a blue moon. The mapping stays consistent every time I turn on the trackers in my play area. It’s very helpful to know that when setting up the trackers, you don’t have to be in front of your PC. What I did was stand in front of my couch and set it as my home area, so whenever I turned on my trackers I would have to face the couch and let the trackers do it’s thing. Whenever I do experience drifting and am unable to fix it with the calibration tab, I just turn off the trackers on vive hub, make sure I stand in front of my couch, turn them back on, then recalibrate them. It sounds like a long process, but should only take you three minutes max! )A quick disclaimer, I did buy these trackers used, and it does not come with straps, but after having the trackers for a few weeks at this point, I’d say it’s fairly good.I was concerned reading the reviews since it talks about lighting issues and how it affects the tracking since my bedroom lights aren’t that bright, but after setting them up, the tracking worked well!Following the guide for third party headsets (I used a quest 2) it is recommended that you don’t clear out your room completely. The trackers need a point of reference so it can track your movements more accurately, so some furniture is better then completely clearing out your room.The ease of setup is a bit lacking, you’ll have to join the VIVE to access the beta, setup the app for the trackers, connect the trackers to the dongle, install a few updates, and then finally pop on your headset and setup the tracking. Personally, I don’t know if it’s because I bought mine used, sometimes the trackers would either disconnect or drift off into another plane of existence whenever I would recalibrate. Thankfully, it only happens once every blue moon.Overall, I give it a 4/5. I love it, but it could be easier to handle in the future. Would recommend for FBT VR games ð

It only works with one headset only!!! (PLEASE READ, BEFORE YOU BUY!!)
Now, keep in mind, this is a good tracker. ONLY!!! If you have a VIVE XR Elite Headset. Any other headset you have will not and never do. It’s being told they are working on making the Product work for other headsets like Quest. But, they have not announced that yet at all.My advice, don’t buy these trackers if you don’t use a VIVE XR Elite Headset. Save your money, until you here any updates.

Amazing Right Out Of The Box!
I’m thoroughly impressed with the HTC Ultimate trackers! Setup was a breeze with my XR Elite, and I even experimented with PCVR using my HTC Vive Pro Eye headset. Although it took a bit of time to configure with the different headset, the trackers have been working flawlessly with Blade & Sorcery’s full-body tracking. The setup process was incredibly smooth, with clear and detailed instructions every step of the way.The ability to use full-body tracking without base stations is truly mind-blowing. In fact, I’ve abandoned my Vive 3.0 trackers since upgrading to the Ultimate trackers. One of the standout features is the ease of use â I can take them to a friend’s house, quickly scan the area, and the inside-out tracking works instantly, no PC required. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the HTC Ultimate trackers!Pros:·Easy setup with intuitive instructions·Inside-out tracking eliminates the need for base stations·No PC required for standalone use, but easily compatible with PCVR for expanded gaming options·Sleek and beautiful designCons:·Initial cost may be prohibitive for some budgets·(However, note that the cost is offset by the savings from not needing base stations or a PC for standalone use)

Great, Driftless, Accurate tracking and fun! Butâ¦
So Iâve been looking into these trackers for the past couple months and finally bought them! And I hours say, they track really well and theyâre fun to have in VR games, BUT!There was something I noticed the moment I started using them, and this is just with me; but one of my trackers was actually faulty the moment I was trying to use it, and at this point it wonât track anything at all. I tried everything to fix it and my play space, but everything else works fine, itâs just that one tracker. Itâs been about 5 days since Iâve received and opened the box, and Iâve only used them 3 times up to this point.Itâs the only one that lost tracking and hasnât reconnected/re-tracked ever since the other night. The other two trackers work perfectly fine though! I just wish the third tracker worked because at this point I canât use it, it just wonât connect or track anything at all.But thatâs just my experience hahaI may have to buy a new tracker, which sucks but other than that, if youâre looking for some accurate drift less trackers without base stations, these are what I would go for!Theyâre pretty on level compared to the 3.0 vice trackers from what Iâve seen! The only advice I give is to follow the set up instructions and make sure that you have REALLY good lighting! Then you should be all set!

I use these daily with my Quest 3 for 4 hours at a time or more. Usually I may have to recalibrate once or twice if I leave my playspace. They are sensitive to lighting and things in your room but I must have gotten lucky the first time.

Pour note, j’utilise un Rift S avec des trackers 2.0 et des base station 1.0. J’utilise exclusivement des tracker pour VRChat.Je voulais une bonne upgrade de mes trackers pour pouvoir arrêter d’avoir mon bassin qui s’envole tout le temps a plusieurs mètres (causé par les base station/lâinterférence des dongles). C’est tracker semblait être la meilleur solution puisqu’elle promet de marcher sans besoin de base station, 1 seule dongle, 7 heure d’autonomie et utilise des cameras interne pour ce situer. Sa semble bien à première vue.Mais j’ai vite découvert que la technologie n’était pas encore au point. Surtout pour un tel prix (954$ !!!). La plupart des plainte sont sur la lumières qui est demander pour que les trackers marchent, mais le plus gros problèmes était pour moi la perte constante de tracking. Si je suis coucher, si je suis trop proche d’un meuble, si il a trop de lumière et même si je me penche un tout petit peu le tracking est perdue…. Quelle déception.

THERE IS NO AI.This is your run of the mill Camera based Tracking with a god awful need for light, so bad that if your room isn’t lit up like a Neon light-house, then you ARE NOT going to get ANY tracking AT ALL.Absolutely NOT worth the investment AT ALL. Go get SlimeVR instead, Atleast it works IN THE DARK. Like these should have.HTC, get your crap together, and get off the AI Bandwagon.
