Great headset
This product keeps my headset alive and running while I’m playing Zero Caliber, Supernatural, or Paintball. Evens out the weight of the headset and makes it much easier to take on and off. I also like the fact that we’re using the charging the port of the headset less.I bought a second for my wife after she kept stealing my Quest 3. She also really enjoys this headstrap. She was getting a message that charging was slow but luckily Amazon has a good return policy.

Pretty comfortable buuuutttt
The battery pack had a short when delivered and wont stop making the unglody noise repeatedly. Other problems I ran into was the strap was a pain to get through the loop although that’s more so the quests problem with how tight they made it. There is also a noise coming from the battery pack kinda ignorable if playing a game with the volume up though.

I just upgraded from the original oculus quest 2 too the new and rebranded meta quest 3. I ordered this elite strap and another to compare them. They both ended up making that slight buzz noise. My main reason for 4 stars not 5 is because the straps tension came undone a little in the back. It just be my big head though. Its super easy to install. The product seems to be good quality and has a pretty good battery life. It’s not to heavy on the head. I do belivie its more beneficial to spend an extra 10 dollars to get a higher quality one, since this ones value for how much it costs is just average. The other one I bought was $6 more but higher quality and battery so I did end up returning this item since I only have one meta quest 3 and my quest 2 already has an elite strap.

The first item was delivered damaged.
Received the order in a timely manner, but upon opening the (tiny) box, I saw that one side of the adjustable plastic strap had snapped off from the item being crammed so tightly. The entire headstrap was unusable, so I just repacked it and initiated an immediate exchange for a new, hopefully unbroken one. I will submit a full review if the replacement is intact.Update:I received the replacement hassle-free. This one was in perfect condition other than the battery cable being a little kinked from the zip-tie used to secure it. Ive been using it for several weeks now and I’m quite satisfied with the performance and quality of this strap. While a pure halo strap would probably be more comfortable, this one is way better than the original elastic strap. The ratcheting adjustment knob at the back is solid and doesn’t really stick out too much, so I can easily sit on my couch with my head resting on the back. There is a nice lighted ring around the knob to indicate battery level and charging status. The rear rubber cup part of the head-strap is very tacky and holds the strap securely and tightly to the back of my head. With a high-amp charger, it will take several hours to charge the battery from about 20%-100%. I got around 3 hours or more hours of playing time with my Quest 3 which is a power-hog itself. The headset appears to draw off of the external battery strap first before using the internal battery. The strap has hinges on each side so I can easily tilt the head-set up if I need to scratch my nose or face. In conclusion, this is a very nice unit that allows me and my grandson to play the Quest 3 for an insanely long time.

A Bittersweet Experience……
I bought this strap and owned it for sometime. My review on it was that it wasn’t satisfactory as I had thought.The design was actually decent, it brought good counterweight to my head, instead of fake leather padding they opted for more simple hard silicone, which didn’t feel uncomfortable to my head.I was able to lay down on my pillow with relative ease.Even came with a cord just to charge it which was niceHowever that’s where the good news ended. When I first opened it from the box, the cord was poorly packed and had damages before I even set it up. After a week, the battery cord broke, no longer able to charge my headset turning into just any other kind of strap.And because I ordered it just 2 weeks before opening it, I lost my return policy….. (Now I’m just stuck with a regular old head strap, unfortunately this is the only one I have, so I have to make due.)

I had the headstrap for the quest 2 and this version for the quest 3 is by far better. Faster charging, more consistent charging.
