What I Think –
Cool Idea, But Free Alternative Available Elsewhere
I was a little confused at first about how the translating works because when I received this product, there wasn’t any QR code in the box to scan to download the app. I had to go back to its online product page to find out. That aside, the quality of the glasses seems nice and decent. This is essentially a pair of smart glasses that are able to verbalize a translated conversation. There are many languages available, but I could only test out a couple of them. It could translate an entire conversation, albeit don’t pause too long, and not just single sentences. I actually find it quite good and accurate. Unfortunately, the offline version is not free. Overall, this product seems like a cool idea and maybe applicable for someone who can’t read, but rely solely on verbal translation. However, there’s another equally good, if not better, app called G o o g l e Translate that could do this for free.

These arenât bad, but they are not great eitherâ¦
First, they are not too bad looking⦠The frames are fairly lightweight and comfortable, but they really are nothing more than a microphone and tiny speakers built in to the arms of the glass frames. From the perspective that I absolutely hate earbuds, and I already have to wear glasses they had viability. You can take them to a place that sells prescription transitional lens bifocals and have them sized and installed so that you can wear these as your primary glasses. They allow you to have them on and talk on the phone or listen to music right through your glasses, but if someone is right next to you, they’ll likely be able to listen or hear whatâs being said or played. It sounds a little like when someone has their phone volume up and you can catch most of the conversation if you are next to them. Also, the language translator app works pretty decently, but has little to nothing to do with the actualglasses, so itâs just kind of a âhey, hereâs an app with some interesting features that is available for downloadâ.I think these are okay, but have a ways to go before I could make a positive recommendation.

These Were Just Meh
Wasn’t really sure what I was expecting with these glasses but for the price, I feel these were just meh. The glasses themselves feel pretty cheap to be honest. They look decent and stylish but wearing them on your face, it just doesn’t feel that great. Pairing them to my phone via Bluetooth was easy and simple. The audio quality however is below average I would say. I don’t really see myself or anyone using this that often. For the price I was hoping for something a bit better quality on all departments. A little disappointed.

About 70% accurate
I have been wanting a real time translator for a while. I have always been curious to know what is being said around me albeit nail technicians or contractors doing work around the house. It was very easy to get the app up and running and set up the Bluetooth to connect the glasses to my phone. The initial hurdle is determining the language spoken but that can be solved with google translate. From there you set it up so when you touch your phone, it records what is being said. It is then relayed in your ears. In my usage, I found it be about 70% correct. You can get the jest of what is being said which is the most important.

Works better than I expected
After installing the app, and connecting the glasses via bluetooth, I tested them right away by using photo translation mode. I took a photo of the Chinese version of the instruction booklet, and the app translated it right away (screenshots attached). But, that was just the app, not the glasses. As for the real-time translation, I haven’t found a way to test that yet. So I guess you could say I’ve only tested the app so far. But, so far so good.

Not Impressed
I was expecting more at this price point. The labels are full of misspellings so I wasn’t given a good first impression. The glasses themselves feel mediocre. Not incredible materials or luxurious feeling. The real time translation is decent. Not a fan of having to use an app for the glasses to work. I expected a standalone device as it is marketed as AI. Overall, not impressed but a step in the right direction.

Broken? Nonfunctional? Junk.
I couldnât get this thing to power on, so⦠Yeah. Thatâs my review.I also wear prescription glasses, and the built in lenses on this donât seem to be any standard form factor, but I could probably get an optician to make lenses for it.

I really wanted to love this, but don’t
I thought this would be a high tech pair of glasses that real time translated other languages. That’s not what this is at all. You have to use an app to translate and then you can either read the translation from that app or have the app send it to your glasses and hear it read to you in there. It’s not efficient at all and doesn’t really do anything that the app can’t do. I gave 3 stars because the glasses look nice and you can use them as a bluetooth speaker, but that’s it.
