The unit is not completely renewed
When I read the customer reviews I noticed one by Em.Eva:”This is one of the most upsetting purchases I’ve ever received from Amazon. For starters the laptop was not fully restored to factory settings nor was it wiped from the previous owners Microsoft 365 login. I spent countless frustrating hours trying to login and reset it to factory default and it kept going back to the same login screen requiring an Amedisys Inc email for Microsoft 365 which I’m assuming belonged to the previous owner. Nor was I provided a pin number to use that would allow me to login to the laptop. At this time it is just a fancy paperweight and I will be returning it ASAP. I recommend the seller to start testing and doing quality checks for every laptop before sending it to the customer.”I thought that would have caught the seller’s attention and the quality control issue would have been solved. Since I have a Dell Latitude E6540 and love it very much, except the weight and lack of bluetooth, I want to buy a similar but lighter unit with bluetooth. Also, the product webpage showed “free return”. Then I decided to try my luck. I received the unit on 5/3/21. It looked like new. However, I felt something dangling at the bottom center, a screw. I tried to screw it back, but didn’t work. Something must be broken inside. I thought that was a minor problem for a renewed unit and could be fixed by Scotch tape. Then what Em.Eva experienced happened. Amazon support couldn’t help solve the problem. I checked about replacement and noticed the product webpage showed a price increase from $399.98 to $509.99 without “free return”. Then I decided to return it and stay away from this seller.

Would not boot up.
Bought this as an affordable travel computer that still has guts. In good visual condition on arrival. Wouldn’t boot to Windows. After a few hours of trying different things I changed the bios to boot as UEFI instead of Legacy, and it works. Keyboard is quiet and okay, USB and SD card reader all function. Battery life appears to be acceptable, and quite good after disabling things like Bluetooth and keyboard backlight. Came with U.S. English keyboard as expected. Odd that it wouldn’t boot as Legacy, I’ll use it for a few days and make sure there’s not some surprise lurking. One other thing: The touchpad driver offers almost no options, for example there is no option to automatically turn off touchpad when using mouse, and there is no on/off toggle. Even more confusing, in the touchpad settings, when I click on “Additional Options” it just goes to the mouse settings. Go figure. In any case, I think the Lattitude will do the job. UPDATE: Figured out the Dell touchpad app might be key, it wasn’t installed. I installed, and it has an option for disabling the keypad. It should have been factory installed, was not.

Sturdy lil’ laptop for personal/casual use
Purchased this little laptop for its Dell E-dock support to go with my work laptop and home-office peripherals. Computer is fast, light, and business-class (I have used this model at work before, now I have an E7470).Primarily use for simple tasks but love that I can plug and play with my multiple monitor setup in home office. SSDD is nice and fast. There are some cosmetic marks (scratches on outer casing) but nothing of significance. Truly a great lil’ machine I can use both on the couch and docked in. A great buy for the money for me.

It’s okay, but not what I needed to have as problems.
I just received my 7270 today, and has a battery of 51%, as I went on, I had the laptop plugged into the wall outlet, and I was still loosing battery. I am not at 0% and have tk keep it plugged in in order to use it.
