Well worth it
The build quality is probably one of the best build in an electronic device I’ve seen in some time. If you like Retro gaming up to the Dreamcast this works well. It has some minor quirks, but the quirks are nothing you can’t work around. I would recommend changing the firmware to allow for more functionality, but even with the stock firmware it plays the games as expected.

Quit working
Was good for a few uses. I put it up for a while and got it back out today. Doesnât get past the boot screen no matter what I do. Iâve turned it on and off so many times. Removed and reinserted the sd card and everything. Basically a paperweight at this point.

Best $92 Spent On Handheld Ready Out of Box
Title says it all, this RG35XX H is the best $92 I ever spent on a Handheld that was ready to play right out the box. No fuss, no wasted hours, days or any time on setting up or installing or configuring stuff- just turn on and pick one of the thousands of classic retro console and arcade games and enjoy. Feels great in hands too and mini hdmi port lets me enjoy childhood arcade and console games on 35 inch monitor 5/5 Stars love it.

Was a nifty device until it stopped working
I work a full-time job, a part-time job, and I am a full-time student. I do not have a lot of time to play video games, so I decided to pick up this handheld. When it first booted up, I was excited to see all of the games from my childhood staring back at me. I played for about 3 hours on the first day before putting down the handheld. The device sat unbothered on my office desk for around 3 weeks before I decided to pick it up and play again; however, the device no longer turned on. The green light indicator was there, but the screen was black. After several seconds looking at the black screen it would flash âGame Overâ before going back to a forever black screen. Thankfully, I was able to return the device and get my money back (all but an odd restocking fee for a broken device).I have read countless reviews of these handhelds and found that there are many who share the experience that I had, but I also found many who never had an issue. I happened to be one of the unlucky ones it would appear.

Ready to use out of the box
It comes preloaded with games and setup is very straight forward. There are options for customization within the OS, but also, you can add a custom OS if you prefer. It can run a lot of the old consoles and some N64, but if you’re looking for stable N64 I wouldn’t pick this handheld for it. This is mostly for 2D retro gaming up to the PS1. It runs FF7, FF8 and FF9 and a friend of mine who got his at the same time as I did plays other PS1 games without issues. Couldn’t recommend this enough, it’s a lot of fun.

Arrived in good shape, not much games straight out of the box.
A bit disappointed really. Turns on, powers up, and charges fine so far. The games it’s preloaded is pretty sad. Mine arrived with nothing but really old systems, and a few PSP, Playstation, and Dreamcast games. No GBC, GBA, N64, or any of the stuff I really bought the system for. I’ve had to buy a pre-flashed and already set up card that has the stuff I want on it for another $40. It’s okay if you like the 500 games it comes with but just an extra nuisance having to either flash your own or buy another card.
