The best keyboard ever made
Okay, I should qualify that headline as “The Best Keyboard ever Made for the Mac!”But I have never used a better keyboard for *any* computer, and I’ve used a LOT of keyboards over the years.As a bluetooth connected device, you might fear that you can out-pace the connection and experience dropped keystrokes. But no, it doesn’t ever seem to do that. I am a very fast typist and have never had that problem.Knowing Apple, this is not just a simple tap-transmit-wait-for-next-tap type of device. It probably buffers your keystrokes and transmits them, verifying each one with an acknowledgement from the host computer. That’s the way I would design it, and it seems to do that.Just talking as a user, I find it very nice and easy to type on. The numeric keypad is also nice-to-have especially if you tend to enter lots of numerical data, for example in a spreadsheet.The keyboard usually lasts me about two weeks between charges, sometimes as long as a month, depending on usage. Over time, the battery gets weaker, as with all such rechargeable devices.I will mention that this keyboard is a replacement for one I got four years ago, which had an arrow key die. I need the keyboard badly so I just went ahead and ordered one without trying to repair the key. I did pry the key cap off and apply some alcohol, hoping it would fix an oxidized connection, but no luck. These keyboards are not really reparable beyond an occasional air blowout or suction (use your handheld vacuum to pull out the dust, hairs etc. from time to time).The one thing I’m doing differently with this keyboard is that I put on a thin keyboard cover, also purchased here on Amazon for a few dollars, to try to minimize dust and other particles accumulating. It protects against coffee spills etc. as well. It somewhat reduces the accuracy of typing, but the payoff is that the keyboard will likely last longer and require less cleaning. A tradeoff.I can recommend this keyboard to anyone working with a Mac, either desktop or laptop; it will increase your productivity and is a joy to use.

As a Mac using like yourself, I thought, âthereâs gotta be a dupeâ or âsomething similar, but cheaperâ and Iâm here to tell you that this is the real deal and the only keyboard you should consider.Before this, I bought a price-friendly keyboard and lo and behold it was cheaply made, had serious connectivity issues, and crapped out altogether – leading me to this keyboard. I said, enough is enough. Mi teclado estaba fallando y mi técnico me dijo que pronto me dejarÃa de funcionar, comenzaba a escribir letras que no tecleaba y no tenÃa remedio. Yo tenÃa una importante reunión de trabajo en dos dÃas y me apresuré a buscar un nuevo teclado. Primero pensé en alguno económico pero la verdad todos me daban desconfianza, pensé que quizás no funcionarÃan con mi Mac y eso serÃa terrible para mis sesiones laborales y docentes. Asà es que me decidà por este que llegó perfectamente empacado al dÃa siguiente. De inmediato lo conecté y wow! funcionó de inmediato al 100% sin mayor ajuste o configuración. Además al ser de cable y conectarse a la unidad USB de mi Mac evito el uso de baterÃas (que ya usaba recargables por cierto) eso me hace muy feliz!. La suavidad de sus teclas es inigualable, eso no lo tendrÃa en un teclado de otra calidad/precio, tiene además sus teclas numéricas por separado lo que me facilita el uso de fórmulas y registros varios en sitios de internet y además tiene la “ñ” !! No puedo estar más contenta con esta compra, quienes trabajamos en casa y usamos mucho estas herramientas, debemos considerar calidad y eficiencia y este teclado las tiene! Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
