Good for young gamers
We bought this PC for my grandson, who is an avid gamer. The features for the price point were excellent. We wanted to focus on speed where it counts, and we were looking for an inexpensive desktop with a good dedicated video card and disk speed. Because we had some unused monitors to add to the configuration, we got him a very functional system at an excellent price. I’d recommend this machine to gamers on a budget.

Just need an extra stick of ram
I was able to get mine at a very large discount at like 450 dollars so personally for me it was worth it , for gaming had to do some personal upgrades that was like 50 extra dollars but other then that it works great for most games from medium settings to performance mode on games that allow

Add another 8gb of ram and you’re golden!
Air flow is meh, but if that is a concern you shouldn’t buy this anyway. I picked one of these up for a buddy who wanted to move from console to PC. I did do a few things to it first, I did a fresh install of Windows 10, I added another 8gb of ram. Updated Windows and drivers, there is no XMP option so if you want to upgrade the ram to lets say 3200 you’ll likely need to use Ryzen master to hit those speeds. He primarily wants to play Rust and Apex Legends. This smokes Apex Legends at 1080p, drop the settings and Shaders a bit and its an easy 120 FPS. I played around with settings on Rust and set it to what I would call ‘medium’ settings and it was hitting 100 FPS.
Once again these settings are WITH the added 8gb of ram for Dual Channel (Highly recommended.)

A great value for the price.++updated
First thing i did was upgraded the mem. to 32gig. (120.00ish)
This baby is screaming and the ease of switching between programs like
a big game of Civ5 for example is FAST!!
only drawback and its really not for the price.. its a not too simple to add more than one 2.5″
drives but not impossible.
Updated 7/17/2020 the heat displacement within this unit is EXTREAMLY poor. The person who engineered this is needs to finish pre-school.

Very good for starters
The Pc is very good but I recommend upgrading the ram and storage, it’s not a huge problem but it will give you a much better gaming experience. But those upgrades don’t have to be now, you don’t have to upgrade them immediately, overall an amazing product recommend 100%!

Love this computer!
My son loves it! Bought this so he could have less lag on his favorite game- Minecraft! He hasn’t tried other games yet but wow what a difference from his old laptop. It renders unbelievable distances (you can see much farther away) and NO lag. Not to mention the computer starts up from shut down mode almost instantly, zoom meetings and all other programs open effortlessly, no more “not responding” windows.

Laggy, bad graphics card, new one not in stock. Don’t buy.
The computer is laggy, sent it out for repair and was told the graphics card was bad but they didn’t have it in stock to replace it. They sent the computer back to me and never called back to let me know it is in stock. The representative got me to purchase the extended warranty so someone can come to my house to replace it when it was being checked out while in Texas facility but again, no one ever gotten back to me. I purchase everything computer wise from HP… This will probably be my last purchase from their company. I even asked that if I would to order one can they just reimburse me, he said no I would have to wait for the graphics card to be back in stock. The computer was purchased because my children needed to be virtual, and my old HP computer was on its way out after 11 years. Don’t buy this desk top. Dude get your self a Dell.
