Can never have enough outlets in my kitchen so I purchased this to help out. It mounts very securely and easily and the power surge protection should be ideal for protecting all those small appliances like expensive coffee makers etc. which most people have. What made me choose this model was the adjustable brightness night light feature which is super handy for late night snacking. Affordable and USB ports are also a must have these days. Glad I bought this model !!!
