First, my intent on buying this was to mount on a baby grand piano and be able to do video lessons with students. My concerns when buying it were:1. How strong the goose neck would be? I have goose neck mic stands and the goose necks do not hold in position anything very heavy. Nor do they hold their shape very well. This holder seems well made and of solid construction. The goose neck portion is VERY strong and feels like a solid piece of steel rod. It takes much more effort to bend than a normal mic stand goose neck. It does hold its shape very well.2. How would it attach to the piano. I did not want something that would damage the finish but hold tightly. The clamping mechanism is easy to adjust and tighten down. The clamp itself has some rubber pads that keep it from scratching the piano.3. Will the phone clamp securely hold the phone when placed facing down. The clamp is strong enough to securely hold the phone in any position. There are a couple ridged areas that you will want to make sure the phone is behind to make it secure.Now for a few “take note of” points.1. The piano is on wooden floor joist and not a concrete floor. While playing or even walking around the piano there is some “bouncing” of the piano. It is not a whole lot, but it is there. This causes some bouncing and movement of the holder and phone. It is not so much due to the holder but on what it is attached. I might have to move it to a stand on the floor, but it also bounces some. I will need to check to see how much it affects the view by the student.2. Dialing “911”. I have an iPhone which has the capability to dial 911 when pressing the side buttons together. Be careful not to clamp the clamp over these two buttons. Also, do not press these buttons while trying to put the phone in the clamp. You can either take note of this while inserting the phone or simply turn off this feature on the phone. The later was my choice after accidentally dialing 911.Otherwise, good quality and price. Sturdy. I can see it working for multiple scenarios and applications.

Stable and secure.
This gooseneck holder keeps my phone, camera and spot lights very secure. As long as you have a good steady base to clamp this to, it remains stable and virtually shake-free. With a little creativity, I was able to clamp this to one of my tripods for even more flexibility. I look forward to many years of use.

Use next to my recliner and it works great
This is a very sturdy flexible arm to hold a cell phone. I tried other holders, but my phone would slip out. this holds it very firmly. You just have to be careful not to attach it where the buttons are on the phone because it will trigger them, but it is easy to attach it below the buttons. I also just tied a loop in the cell charger cord up near where it attaches so I can charge the phone at the same time.

We Return the first one we bought, because we couldn’t snap it together. It would be nice if they would send it totally assembled.Is very hard when you are elderly.Other then that, we love it. It holds your phone perfectly. You can rest your hand. We are so glad we got it. We order two of them.

Had this thing for a while and it holds the phone in place but it keeps loosening its grip where you put it over a short time. The arm is stronger than the grip where it’s supposed to stay

This version of the GOOSENECK PHONE HOLDER is shorter than the previous version.The 38 inch dimension is misleading. I thought it would taller than the older version I own. The 38 inch is from the bottom of the table clamp to the end of the phone holder when extended, not when bent in to a viewing angle. I misread it and thought it would 38 inches from top of clamp to end of flexible cable. I needed more height to place a phone higher and at a more direct angle to my artwork when I am demonstrating for a class.I thought the length of the flexible arm would be 38 inch. I could really use extra length for teaching art demos. It would allow me to set my camera higher and at more flexible angles to my easel and palettes.The older phone holder clamp on my previous Lamicall broke and I was excited thinking the new version would be taller solving a lot of problems for me. It did not solve the problem of reaching higher above my artwork. The new clamp does feel stronger, designed more solidly, and is easier to manipulate which I have to do a lot while teaching.The nylon flexible arm is more attractive.The new nylon flexible arm seems to not bounce as much as the previous model I purchased in 2021 with the PVC covered arm.With my first complaint I rated it a 1. Lamicall contacted me and voluntarily refunded my money. That is amazing. They explained that the length they created it is necessary to keep it stable.I solved the problem of needing more height by clamping it to free standing photo light. The entire contraption was falling on me until I weighted the bottom of the stand with a heavy tripod. A heavy wood easel has worked at times also. I am sure there are stands made precisely for attaching things to hold them above you while you work.I appreciate Lamicall’s concern for my concerns and continued attempt to use their Gooseneck Phone holder to allow me to video my demonstrations for students.I would rate it now at 5 due to the companies response, except I found the information misleading. The dotted line I did not know if that was accurate. The arm is not longer as the copy says thus I was mislead. The nylon part is not 38 inches. I used to use a phone holder that gave a Birds Eye view and it sucked. This one is so much better. Itâs so easy to put your phone in the holder because1. itâs just a clamp that holds your phone which is super easy to put in, unlike a lot of phone holders.2. I can easily see whatâs being recorded and I can press start/stop on my camera while itâs in the clamp.3. It clamps onto ANYTHING and you can position the camera a million ways.4. Itâs super sturdy and durable. Maybe even a little too much, as itâs pretty stiff when youâre trying to change the position of it, but it definitely holds your phone up really well. I love it.

El mejor stand para poner tu telefono. Lo compre porque queria que mi mama dejara de sostener su cel cuando veia Netflix en su cuarto jaja y lo agarramos a la cabecera de la cama y LISTO! El cuello es super resistente, fuerte, y nada facil de caerse. Aguanta el celular perfectamente. Tenia miedo que no lo aguantara, porque muchos de los soportes que luego venden, por el peso, se caen facilmente. Pero este? NOP. La agarradera para que pongas el cel, de lo mas comodo y sencillo, no daña el telefono. Es como una garrita super suave pero agarra el telefono muy bien. Puede mover este soporte como tu quieras y se va a sostener de esa manera!

This phone holder has been sooo useful. Being able to adjust the gooseneck at any position you want is super handy (bendable, squiggly, . There’s a gyro between the adjustable gooseneck and clamp so you can tweak the screen of your phone if you want it face level, horizontally, diagonally, however you prefer. I’ve been mainly using it for when i need a second screen while on my PC desktop. Also been able to use it around my bed to just lie down and watch instead of holding your phone bed side. Literally hands free. Luckily i have a bed frame that has a flat side that’s mountable. Of course not everyone has that type of bed but an alternative is mounting it on your bed headboard. If you don’t have both of that, then i guess the only option is your desk. It’s also able to clamp a Nintendo Switch screen as well so that’s a plus. That’s probably the largest device i can clamp it on (See picture). Anything bigger than a Nintendo Switch screen won’t fit. Other than that, I would recommend it if you are a mobile user.

Con otros he sufrido algún accidente (como que se cayese el tfno sobre mi cabeza en plena madrugada, o que los agarres se situaran justo en la combinación de tecla para hacer una llamada de emergencia y oyera al asistente del 061 en pleno sueño “diga-diga”), pero no con este.
