These were refurb but…. now no complaints
The product works great and was as advertised. They were reported as Refurbished but I think there was a step missed. I had to call tech support through Amazon to get the prior users base station codes clears so I could make them work with my base station. Other than that these are nice, effective hand sets.

The handset doesn’t work. I have to talk on speakerphone.
We have three of these types of phones, the base, a wireless, and this extension. THis extension came with a bad handset. I know because I plugged in the handset from the other phone and it works. I tried to call VTECH customer support. It didn’t go well. They said to leave a number and they would call me back. I did and they called me back 8 days later!!!I just wanted a new handset, like they should be able to just mail one out. Nope! They want me to return the phone to Amazon, which I cannot because I need the phone. What a drag. Oh well. I don’t feel guilty. They earned this terrible review.

Do not get the system
Bad phone system. My main phone locked up and I had to replace it. Well this extension phone of which I had 2 would not accept the new phone. Tried and tried to unlink them from the old phone and im fairly computer competent. Do NOT BOTHER with this system unless you like being miserable.Vtech service is really really bad
