Best Battery Life EVER
I bought this phone for my Mother. She’s always out running around and her old phone just couldn’t keep up. She also is constantly taking video and pictures of my little Nephew. Her old phone would commonly be out of juice before the event she was documenting was finished, such as a trip to the Zoo etc. She’d often text me and inform me she was turning off her phone to conserve power. I thought this was unacceptable, she might need her phone for an important incoming call, or need to make an emergency outgoing call and with a dead battery this was a risk. So I set out to find a phone that could keep up with her. I found this Moto G Power and after watching many many reviews I decided to try it out. It was on sale during Prime Day so I couldn’t pass up the deal, plus the return policy is always awesome so no real risk.
This phone was way better than I excepted for the price. I myself always buy the Flagship level phones, and this one has made me think twice about spending all that money. This budget level phone is very impressive, it runs Android 10 currently, is a 2020 model, and the battery life is amazing. I gave it to my Mother and she was blown away, first that I spent the money on her, and later because of how long the battery lasted. I suggested to her that she let the battery drain down from 100% to see how long it would last to ensure it was as good as advertised. Well we were more than impressed. She texted me daily and gave me the battery percentage and it incredible. The phone went an entire week, 7 days, and it was still at 36%. Her old phone would die before the end of a single day. Now I will note that she didn’t do a lot of videos and Picture that week, but used it for text messaging and some phone calls. She indicated that her old phone wouldn’t even make it a full day with that lite use. Even my iPhone, doesn’t get more than 2 days with lite use and it has a new battery.
The phone is also snappy and more than enough for the typical phone user, even the camera took wonderful photos and video. It has so many features for the price, I thought they sent the wrong phone. LOL
Anyways, this phone is great if you want battery life. The only down side is that is a little heavy because of the large battery. If you don’t care about getting the flagship or are on a budget, then this phone is for you. It also might be good for a first phone for a responsible child. Its not the cheapest phone, but its a good mix of budget cost, and still a great looking phone.

It’s a winner
I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, which I had no intention of replacing until it completely went out on me. Unfortunately it fell prey to a rather common issue that doesn’t seem to have a fix on God’s green earth, namely, the camera failing in conjunction with locking out the flashlight. This, it turns out, is a problem a lot of phones around its generation have had.
I kind of use the camera very often for many things, so it was time to start phone shopping.
I hate the idea of spending $500+ dollars on a phone. Never again. That’s where the Moto G Power comes in. Not only is it compatible with my Verizon SIM, it’s compatible with MINT mobile in case I eventually make the choice to switch.
The phone is big, but not overwhelmingly so. It runs well without major lag. It has nice, protective case options. It doesn’t come with bloatware which I didn’t recognize my hatred for until I was allowed to go without it. It does have a lot of “handy” features that I don’t find all that handy, even as a pretty tech savvy 25 year old, but they can go ignored or even disabled. It’s nice to know the options are there.
The battery does as it says. I can go 3 days without charging, even with regular use and having YouTube on for hours. I’m very impressed.
This phone made me even more incredulous that any regular person would ever pay more than this for a phone. With how susceptible they are to breaking, becoming outdated, failing in some way, etc., this is quite literally the best value you can find. Seriously, it’s a model from just last year, practically a pocket-sized computer, and costs less than most gaming consoles.
I have one sole complaint, and that’s the volume and lock buttons. All 3 are very close to together on the right hand side. I miss the standalone home button on the bottom of the phone. I miss the volume and lock buttons being on opposite sides. I fear I always will. But I must move on, into the future.
If you’re on the fence I suggest you give it a shot.

This phone is so much better than I expected for pay as you go option. Delivery was prompt. My phone came without the SD/sim card reader cartridge, but the company sent me one within a day of my message. I am so happy to have received this phone. The battery life seems good, the fingerprint reader is excellent, and the screen quality is good. When taking make sure to hold your hand steady or it gets a bit warped and fuzzy. Overall, I am a very happy customer!
