excellent sound quality!
Audio-Technica always the top choices to me. My 1st Audio-Technica is for listening the music, and this is my 2nd Audio-Technica headset for wfh. I feel this gaming headset sound quality are pretty close to my 1st Audio-Technica headset. Excellent for music. The reason I don’t give 5 stars to this gaming set that I try to listen the headphone testing CD, I can’t really tell where is sound from. This is critical for Gamer, I thought.

Perfect for my Setup
I have a Klipsch audio system I connected the head phones to and downloaded a sound equalizer for Windows. These are perfect for my setup. I love that they use basic audio jacks for everything.

sound is good but microphone is MEH
I have had this thing for a good time gaming every day with it. After some time the microphone when you move it side to side it will sometimes pick up in the headphones a scratchy noise. Then when you move the microphone again it goes away. It comes and goes. My best bet to fixing this issue is to buy a new microphone that works with this headset. I dont feel like figuring out the micro phone so I went back to my older headset. The sound is still good on this unit.

The manufacturing quality is average. Simple controls. Very comfortable. No side sound from microphone input. The lack of side tone from your own voice can be off-putting. These would be really nice head phones and get 5 stars if I only paid $50.00

I went through several headsets for my son and had issues with all of them but this one he sounded both deep and clear while talking quietly and the sound on them sounded great! This is your next gaming headset!

Really great until they stop working
There’s a lot to love about these, but like others have reported, the right side drops out and the only solution is to ship them in for repairs. I even bought a hardshell case to carry them in so they wouldn’t be subjected to abuse in my backpack, but the issue happened AGAIN. The first time around was only a couple of months after I bought them. The repair itself was in warranty, but not shipping costs. Now that it has happened again out of warranty, there’s no way I’m paying to ship them in and get repaired. This is an unfortunate design flaw because the headset is otherwise fantastic. The mic is high quality (a primary reason I paid so much for Audio-Technica over other brands) and the fact that it can be detached when not in use is a great feature. Sound quality is great until the issue occurs, at which point overall volume drops and the right channel disappears almost completely.

Auriculares funcionales y sencillos en su construcción pero sofisticados en su respuesta. Muy ligeros y polivalentes.
En esta ocasión, Audio Technica traslada todos sus conocimientos del sonido de estudio a la rama de los videojuegos desarrollando un dispositivo de apariencia muy modesta y rendimiento óptimo.
Sin demasiadas complicaciones el modelo ATH-G1 puede ser el auricular favorito de cualquier aficionado al gaming gracias a sus prestaciones.

They work very good. One teeny tiny nit-pick on my end is that there’s this noticeable high-pitchyness to the sound no matter what you play, the “S” sound is very prominent, if you may. The bass is there sort of, not as strong as my old headphones. Maybe this happens because I quickly switched to new headphones and takes some getting used to.

Super Sound Qualität, die mehr bass haben als die ath m50x aber meines Erachtens nicht ganz so klar wie diese sind , was meiner meinung aber nicht schlimm ist. Es drückt nichts auf die Ohren, auch nach 6 Stunden tragen und durch das leichte Gewicht fühlt sich das Headset sehr gut an. Am Mikrofon gibt es nichts zu bemängeln, was ich durch eine Aufnahme getestet habe. Das Design sieht in echt noch besser aus als auf denn Bildern und das einzige Detail was mich persönlich etwas stört, sind die offenen Kabel, dies aber nur ein Kosmetischer mangel ist und für ein Gaming headset was man normal drinnen trägt unrelevant ist. Hätte ich aber keine ath m50x würde ich diese auch als Kopfhörer benutzen 🙂

Great studio quality sound, a little bass heavy but you don’t lose any mids or highs to get that bass. Comfortable for long periods and a decent mic to boot.
