Avoid: Iâm a tech guy and couldnât get it working
After I got it and started having problems, blue screens, WiFi drops, and stalls.. I learned many others have the same. People have to usually take it for warranty of motherboard. Also, Lenovos app crashes the computer and thatâs what they want you to use to get help.I usually love Lenovos, used them for a long time.I might have just got a lemon, but too many others say same when you start looking for fixes.Iâve factory reinstalled multiple times, now it canât even connect to internet long enough to finish a setup.

Great laptop
Great laptop. Although it is a “gaming” laptop, to me that just means it has what many would consider overkill for work/productivity, and to that end the i9, RAM, and nvidia GPU make it great for all the multi-tasking I do when I need travel performance. VSC and other programs all run quickly and without a hitch all at the same time because of the 64 gigs of RAM and the i9. The only downsides could be that it is a heavy laptop and the battery life is of course horrible since it has a very fast CPU and GPU. For my use case, though, that wasn’t an issue because I mainly wanted something with desktop-comparable performance I could plug into a hotel room while traveling. If you spend a lot of time away from a wall plug then it probably won’t work for you. As for what this laptop is advertised, it is a perfectly capable gaming rig because I tested it with Cyberpunk and it ran fine at the native resolution. Not desktop 4090 fine, but still a lot better than you would get from any console. There wasn’t a ton of bloatware to uninstall apart from McAfee and the usual garbage from Windows to disable. So all in all it was perfect for my needs and I have yet to have any issues.
