Beautiful Build
Where to start. Overall awesome. Observations: I believe that 16gb of RAM and a 1TB SSD are both insufficient for what a machine with an RTX 3080 is going to be doing, (not that there are a lot of games to put it through its paces). I upgraded by adding another Firecuda 2TB M2 stick. That said, there are two 8GB sticks of RAM which I will have to upgrade, (and two free slots). The video card that I got is an MSI, not a Gigabyte as pictured.The case is large, bigger than my Corsair 680X, but the 680X doesn’t do half as well with the number of fans that this case does. The RTX 3080 is very large, and I wouldn’t recommend going with a smaller case. Also, the video card covers up the secondary M2 slot, and it has to be removed for installation. The only odd part was the under mounting support bracket for the video card that I had never seen before.Okay, so here is the most important bit I wanted to share: The case is mostly glass, so when it was dropped in shipping the front panel completely shattered. I spent hours, cuts, several whine-ings, and other such assorted coping mechanisms trying to clean it out.BUT THE AMAZING BIT, the SELLING POINT I THINK: There were two pieces of Tech support contact information for ThermalTake taped to the top of the box-even including Discord contact information(???). So, I contacted Thermaltake directly via Discord and they not only got me a replacement panel already for shipping while I was talking to them, they also helped me out figure where the mount and screws were for the 2nd SSD, (the screws are pre-mounted by the way).I saw another review stating that this system is overpriced. Technically, ??, yeah kinda. But the job that was done building the machine is INCREDIBLY solid, it looks artistic, and super professional, (over 25 years personal experience). Although I think 32GB of RAM would make the System a definite buy, it is a beautiful machine and I am satisfied with the service and the professionalism so far.

Purchased for $1973.41.Unboxed, plugged in. Didn’t work.Call manufacturer. Tech determined video card defective.Reboxed and returned.Received refund to my card, but only for $1973.41.Hmmm.

Can you afford it?
At this price point you would expect all the “bells and whistles”, if you buy this you will be let down. The main hard ware is solid, just not everything you want, and from what I received retail was just under 2400 retail, so tack on about 100 for “pre-built” and that’s what you’re over paying, so make sure you research before you buy. My 6 year old build was starting to fail, so I needed a computer, this had the general specs I was looking for, and trying to buy anything now a days impossible. My out of box experience was terrible, I had to figure out how to deal with “defaultuser0” turns out you have to format the thing right out of the box. After knowingly over paying for this I would expect a better experience. All of my past builds has had Gigabyte MOBO’s and Intel CPU, at first the CPU speeds, and temps was stable, but now the CPU Speeds, and temps are so inconsistent, it bothers me, but AMD is new to me, so take it with a grain of salt. The Themaltake RAM sticks are so much brighter than the fans/off color, and I never cared about RGB, but for this price tag I would expect better quality. What seems to be the AIO pump for the first few days seemed quiet, but after about a week, it makes an obnoxious sound while shutting down, I feel like it’s going to fail, They put a WIFI card in this thing with no Bluetooth. They could have saved even more money if they just put an Aorus Elite WIFI in here because the the WIFI/Bluetooth card would have came with the MOBO, and no one buying this thing most likely does not care about WIFI. DON’T WAST YOUR MONEY IF YOU DON’T HAVE TO, You will be able to buy mostly current tech soon enough, this isn’t worth it in my opinion.
