Worth the money
I purchased this Refurbished Desktop computer package deal for a 67 year old friend of mine, this is his first computer. This is still an ongoing project due to scheduling, but within about two hours it was up and running with out any problems, I could have completed the actual set up quicker, but he took the opportunity to change cell phone providers while I was there and that ended up taking three hours. I am please with how well it operates and its ease to set up. I would recommend this product. I don’t know if I would recommend training a 67 year old on their first computer though. ( it will be worth it )

I donât know if theyâve taken to heart past reviews, but I posted lots of pics to show the packaging and condition when I received my ânewâ used computer.This is perfect for what I need for right now while Iâm getting my business started and I can upgrade later! Mind-numbingly slow, and loaded with unwanted software.
I really debated on how many stars to give it. Yes, it was cheap. But still…probably 2.5 stars would have been more accurate. The computer did arrive more quickly than expected. Thatâs about the best thing I can say for it. There were problems from the start. Just getting it to boot up for the first time was a challenge. It would go so far and freeze. Iâd leave it several minutes, but nothing short of the power button would work. After leaving it again and playing with it I was able to finally get it to boot up and go through set up. The mouse that came with it didnât work, so I replaced it with a spare I had on hand. Once everything was set up I started taking a look at the software that was pre-installed. The first desktop icon I clicked on took a full 15 seconds to do anything. Internet Explorer, my preferred browser, wasnât installed. I ate a leisurely lunch while it downloaded. Yes, it took that long. And before anyone asks, there is nothing wrong with my internet. I logged on to my Edward Jones account, but I didnât have the patience to wait FOUR MINUTES between screens. There is software installed on the machine that I wasnât expecting, such as Microsoft Publisher, Excel, and some second-class programs for opening pdf files, etc. Oddly, no Adobe Acrobat Reader. The machine is obviously used, which I knew when purchasing, but it feels like the previous ownerâs data files were wiped out but their programs left in place. Itâs not worth the hassle to return the computer, so Iâm going to start stripping out the unwanted programs, give it a thorough going over to make sure there are no unwanted âgiftsâ on there, and see if I canât get the speed up to at least close to where it should be. But this should serve as a caution to other buyers that theyâre probably not going to receive a machine likely to work satisfactorily out of the box.UPDATE – One day later and the keyboard has quit working.UPDATE – I have revised the rating to 1 star. The problem with the computer involved corrupt Windows file. We removed Windows entirely and replaced it with an updated version that actually works. The keyboard is hopeless, and has just been pitched. Even a cursory check of this machine by the seller would have revealed profound issues. Iâd strongly recommend avoiding this seller altogether.

Good Bundle That Requires Work
I purchased this item as a replacement for a faulty laptop, and I’ve always been more into desktops anyway. The set up was easy overall, and the item came with the necessary cables. However, you should note there are no HDMI ports on this device as stated in the item description.I will be honest, the tower itself has proven to be functional, free of both hardware and software problems. I know this thing was refurbished but the monitor is old, with blemishes as you see in the third picture. The first two pictures represent the original setup. Essentially, I replaced all of the accessories with a wireless keyboard and mouse, and a 27″ curved monitor. All of which have had no compatibility problems. New speakers are pending.Performance has been good overall. I find startup to be a bit slow. However, there have been no issues using internet or downloading software. Good tower but be prepared to invest a little money into it.

DO NOT BUY THIS CRAPP SAVE YOUR MONEYYYY!!!I do admit this pc came with everything and worked fine except for a few things. 1. The mouse didnât work right out of the box, 2. After a half of 2 months, this thing stopped working and I ended up with a Non repairable blue screen of death. About to send this back now.

This PC setup arrived today. The packaging was well thought out and my unit arrived in perfect used condition.Much to my surprise, the PC system that arrived is the HP Elite CPU. Got this for my 84 year old dad because he was too cheap to buy a new one. It was easy to set up and seems to work well. Heâs able to surf the net, thatâs about all he does with it. I think Iâll have to get him a better wifi usb because the one that came with it seems unstable , and he needed speakers because the internal ones were not great. Otherwise pretty good deal.

When I ordered it wasn’t supposed to come in for a month to two. It arrived 10 days after I ordered it!! Came well packaged with all cords and components. Super easy to set up, literally plug and play. The monitors color is great and the size is awesome! Functionality is smooth and the machine is quiet. Great price for a complete home pc!
