Fun way for kids to learn beginning phonics!
We love hot dots sets because it is a fun and interactive way for kids to learn! I have been trying to find ways to keep teaching my 5 year old in order to prepare her for kindergarten in the fall. She is interested in learning how to read but she doesnât like doing regular flash cards. This hot dots set is the perfect way for her to learn beginning phonics like letter sounds and rhyming words. The ace pen (which is not included in this set but we had some pens from other hot dots sets we have) provides instant feedback in a fun way. The set includes 36 double sided cards so there is a total of 72 activities. My daughter enjoyed doing this set so I am so happy that she is learning beginning phonics in this fun way! Highly recommend!

Great for teaching
Doesnât include the pen. They are cards so I donât recommend leaving the child alone with them if they are one to bend or rip cards/paper. You could do together, recommend if you donât have the pen, or they can do it alone the pen tells them when they are right or wrong.

Fun!
This is a fun way for kids to practice their letters/sounds. Includes beg. Sound. Ending sound. And rhyming. My kids loved the light up pen and the variety of noises. Love that it helps them self correct. Great product

Does not include the pen
I made the mistake of getting this due to cheaper price but I didnât realize it didnât come with the pen. Now I have to get the pen separately.

Perfect!
So, my youngest son is really rebelling against me because he wants to do the school work that his older brothers do on the computer. Sad thing is, I haven’t found any online curriculum (other than a certain Mouse one) that my son likes. He doesn’t want to do workbooks or the like. These Hot Dots were perfect! Just the right amount of technology for my little guy. I cant wait for him to master these cards so that we can move on to more sets.

Kids love it!
I ordered a lot more sets. They work well for both of my kids, ages 4 and 5. I had especially wanted this since my son (age 5) hates all things reading and does much better with electronics. He did this by himself and really enjoyed it. It’s helped out a lot. I wish the pens said more and explained why their answer is wrong or right, but maybe they’ll change some things in the future. Also, on some of the cards they have to hit the dots in certain areas for it to tell them it is right, even if it is the correct answer.

Creo que es un buen producto para enseñar a los niños sin embargo el lápiz considero debe hablar y no solo iluminar de color verde o rojo
