Attractive design and function. Does what it’s supposed to.
It’s an A4 European model, which is now sadly discontinued. It’s premium leather version of Bamboo Slate. But it does nicely what it’s supposed to do originally. The Finetip pen works best on smooth or satin paper. And besides notepad, you can use good quality cover paper (for laser printing), which can be taped to the board and produce nice sketches and inked artwork. Great for tracing and digitizing. I haven’t tried, but it should work with the Bamboo ballpoint pen.It syncs with the Windows Inkspace, and can also do live drawing in Windows, which allows adding color. It exports SVG for scalable vectors and further work. Hint: import the SVG in Photoshop or other apps with 300-600 dpi and export png for very high resolution graphics.Because it’s the same Inkspace that works with Intuous Pro, it supports other exports like Text or Word with OCR.The note taking and sketching is comparable to reMarkable and Kindle Scribe (which I own). But the experience is more organic and it’s lighter. You are also working on a 14″ diagonal compared to reMarkable 10″.The shipping was fast and secure. Seller promptly addressed a small issue.

    Gorgeous hardware, useless software
Like many others, I ordered this hoping that I’d be able to connect to my computer. Connecting to an iPad would’ve been preferable (which the documentation that comes with it says it will – as well as the product listing) but it will not. Or perhaps I should say it does connect to the desktop app but the app (Wacom Inkspace) eventually crashes. I’m running MacOS Monterey on an M1 computer. Also FINDING the desktop version of the Wacom Inkspace app is a chore. You really have to dig around on their website and google a lot. Many of their pages say this product is no longer supported as well. So if you do manage to find the app download, and if it does work for you, you will be out of luck when you have issues. I’m not willing to take that chance with my notes.Sadly, this is a really beautiful piece of hardware. The construction is solid, the leather very nice, and the concept quite good. it’s very thin and study. The pen quality seems nice (although I didn’t use – I already had a compatible pen). It has the exact same dimensions and functionality as the Wacom Bamboo Slate (large) (see photos) so it is confounding to me why they couldn’t get this to work and connect to an iPad. Instead, they force you to connect to a buggy computer app that has less functionality than the iPad version. The desktop version of Inkspace does not export to PDF (which the product listing also incorrectly states). As a techie, I was tempted to hold onto this and see if I could swap the innards from my recently acquired Bamboo slate into the leather of this beauty. (They really appear to be identical.) But I decided against it.The takeaway here is if you want the functionality this sketchpad offers you’ll need to go with the Bamboo Slate (large). The only thing the sketchpad has that the slate does not is the ability to double click the button and create ‘layers’ within your file. On the slate, you can’t do that, but, you can just hit the button once, which creates a new page – then continue to write/draw on the existing sheet of paper. These can be merged later within the iPad version of the Inkspace app.I had fingers crossed I could make this work, but like many of the other reviewers, i could not. Be advised.

    Super awesome and surprisingly convenient.
Ok, so I didn’t realize this product wasn’t officially “for sale” in the United States, and there are not many info. I wasn’t sure which software to use with it. Luckily, since I can read Japanese, I checked the Japanese Wacom site and found out it works with the infamous Wacom Inkspace App (not exactly known for its functionality). That said, despite a few glitches here and there, this notepad is incredibly easy to use. Just write or draw something, connect it to your device via Bluetooth, and bam—your work is saved instantly! Super awesome and surprisingly convenient.

    Doesn’t work well with Windows.
I would give this a higher star review but I could not get it to connect/install with three laptops running Windows 8 and 10. Worked perfect with a MacBook Retina.

    Waste of Money & Time
No product support. The SketchPad Pro is not compatible with the Wacom app. It’s not recognized by Windows 10 or 11. Would not recommend this company nor any of its products due to their business model and lack of customer service.

    Disappointing
I was SO excited to get this product. Of course as other reviews had said, it doesn’t connect to inkspace properly on a desktop/laptop. It does connect to my iPad and phone just fine though. My pen came broken at the top, which doesn’t affect it’s ability to work but is super irritating because I can’t put it in the pen holder sleeve. 2 of 4 ink cartridges were also a bust(the first one that comes in the pen, then one of the replacements). All those things were annoying but if it worked as advertised then I’d get over it. Except it totally doesn’t. I always get weird lines no matter how I try to draw or use the pen. It’s like after each pen stroke it has a seizure.Oh and I ordered the brown and got the black.I live overseas so this took a long time to get and will be a pain to turn. This is my first 1-star review and I’m so unhappy. Wacom support also doesn’t seem to know very much about their own product. Zero help.

    No problems here
I just got this and it works beautifully. I had no problems at all connecting it to Win 10 pc and sending my pictures over. Its amazing and fun! I had to watch a video to figure out what the little round ring was for, but thats just for pulling a used ink cartridge out of the pen.

The item was listed as new but came grubby and damaged with retaped box/. The the pen, one of the nibs and the PC connector lead was missing. It had clearly been used previously but this was not stated in the Amazon listing. The paper drawing pad was grubby and dog-eared.It is in the process of being returned for a refund.
