    Alot Of Cool Features
RK61 is a very versatile keyboard that can literally fit anyone’s needs. I personally used it for working and it is amazing. The plastic quality is good and the device is hot swappable so you can make it sound better or sound quieter. It is both compatible with 5 pin and 3 pin switches which is really good because then you have 2x more the options than a regular keyboard. There are also many different lighting options which are all really unique and fits everyone’s preference. One minor downside might be that there is no F row and no volume up or down but it is still usable but a little less convenient

    Excellent keyboard
I am not a mechanical keyboard expert by any means. I wanted a 60% board to use with my laptop, tablet, and occasionally the game consoles. Build quality of the keyboard feels substantial, not flimsy at all. The key caps look great and I love the options for backlighting. I selected the brown switches, they sound great and feel great to type with. It does take some getting used to after only typing on a full size board but totally doable. Excellent starter keyboard to mess around with putting on new key caps or switches.ADDITIONAL NOTESomething to be aware of if you are going to be swapping out keycaps and switches – The PCB is NORTH FACING (backlighting LEDs are on top) instead of SOUTH FACING (backlight LEDs on bottom). This may limit compatbility with cherry profile keycaps because the orientation of the switch will not fully allow the switch to bottom out. I was not aware of this before ordering some new keycaps but luckily they were OEM profile. The most common type of keycap profile is cherry so you may be limited to what you can use!

A Good Minimalist 60% Mechanical Keyboard
I am pleased with this mechanical keyboard, especially for the price point. I purchased the keyboard a year ago for both work and gaming, and did not have too many issues aside from needing to learn the different key combinations. After about 9 months of use, the USB-C port seemed to become loose, and I started to drop connection when trying to use the keyboard in wired mode. I contacted Royal Kludge Official’s customer support to see what could be done, and they sent me a new keyboard, free of charge, to replace the one I purchased, and all within 3 days of me reaching out to them. I will say I did plug and unplug the keyboard once a day to switch from Bluetooth for my work setup to wired for my gaming setup, but I wasn’t rough by any means. Hopefully they can improve the USB-C port to be more durable to account for this. Overall, I am happy with the new keyboard and their customer service.

    Nice keyboard, abysmal manual
I bought this keyboard as a gift for my mother and helped set it up for her. The documentation is a very poor Chinese to English translation that is often nonsensical in what it says. It was very difficult to translate the English in to real English. I wrote up a replacement mini-manual for her and I’ve pasted it below. Hopefully it helps! The brown switches offer a nice tactile feel, but are very quiet and not the old school 1980’s mechanical clicking that I was after. I don’t know much about the “colors” of the switches, but brown is nice and quiet and has a good spring. I can see why it is the commonly purchased key type on Amazon. The white light is nice, but it’s a very cold white light so it almost has a blue hue to it. Still looks nice, but I thought it was worth noting. The lack of dedicated arrow keys was a disappointing oversight on my part. It makes it difficult to type if you’re a heavy keyboard user (as opposed to a more point and click user). I know you can switch between media key modes to enable the arrow keys, but then you can’t use the “?” key without pressing “Fn+Shift+?” which is awkward and difficult for me. All that to say, if you want to use arrow keys, there are trade offs in what keys are enabled/disabled. I’m sure you’ll find a happy medium.I’m optimistic based on previous reviews that this will be well-enjoyed. I’ll have to post a follow up in a few months to see if the 4-star rating persists.English to English Manual Translation:Pair a new device:Long-press Fn + Q/W/ESwitch between devices:Short-press Fn + Q (Device 1), W (Device 2), or E (Device 3)Switch between Mac and Windows key mappings:Fn + S – MacFn + A – WindowsSwitch between Arrow keys and “?” :Fn + Enter (press again to switch back) Cycle between keyboard preferences (3 modes):Fn + Left Ctrl1. Normal – all letters w/”?” key and top row is numbers. 2. Multifunction keys enabled (can’t type YUI,HJK,NM<)3. Media - like Normal but number keys are media keys instead. Use Fn key to type numbers.---Summary: Normal mode with the arrow keys enabled may be the best for typing.Normal mode with the arrow keys disabled might be more convienient for iPad though since you can tap to position your cursor and don't have to learn a new way to type the "?" symbol.---Charging:If switch is ON, plugging in the power cable will show3 flashes continously - battery is charging3 flashes - battery is already full, all lights off after 3 minutes5 flashes after unplugging also indicates a full battery. If the switch is OFF, plugging in the power cable will show3 flashes continously - battery is charging, keycap lights remain on3 flashes - battery is already full, keycap lights remain onAll lights off after unplugging.

    A really good keyboard
I bought the RK Royal Kludge RK61 Wireless mostly for gaming but now mainly use it for typing. I was curious about how it would feel to play with a smaller keyboard since I saw some pros using some. However, I found it hard to adjust to the layout and I kept pressing the wrong keys, like ‘Esc’ instead of ‘1’. This is not a problem with the keyboard itself, but with my own fault. The keyboard has decent keycaps, but I would prefer to change them. I don’t use the wireless mode much, so I don’t know how long the battery lasts. The brown switches are nice for typing, and they sound even better after I modded the keyboard. I added some foam inside and desoldered the switches to lubed them and the stabilizers. The result was a very satisfying typing experience. I think this keyboard is a good choice for anyone who wants to try a 60% keyboard for gaming or wants to try and mod a keyboard for the first time.

    Great keyboard, great customer service.
Brought this keyboard, battery gave out relatively quick, was busy so I basically threw in the closet and forgot about it for a while, went back after months, realized it was still in warranty took a shot in the dark and they took care of me, new keyboard hasn’t had any issues and it’s a fantastic small form factor keyboard for travel.

Su diseño al 60% es muy como, las teclas son muy suaves y el sonido es mínimo pero suficiente para percibir la sensación mecánica, genial si es el primer teclado mecánico que vaya adquirir. 10/10

Sometimes, in Bluetooth mode, it will get stuck on one letter and repeatedly input that character. I’m not sure what’s causing the issue.
