The Pi likes it!
I have been using a CanaKit 3.5 amp supply from a Pi 4 to supply my Pi 5 with active cooling, and recently added a Kingston NV2 1TB SSD on a 52Pi hat. Raspbian didn’t like this, reported the power supply as being insufficient, and said that it would throttle the USB ports. With this power supply (the clear version) there are no complaints.$ vcgencmd get_throttledthrottled=0x0

You have an Argon One V3 case and this power supply is not working? READ
So I originally wrote a review talking about how I received two of these power supplies and both were DOA. I deleted it after I returning the two power supplies and having discovering that the problem was driver related. You need to set up the RP5 outside of this case, install the drivers (per the directions) and then install it in the Argon case and then the power supply will work fine… unless it is truly defective.I wish the Vilros customer service had known about this before I returned the two power supplies as these have longer cables than the ones that I ended up with.Thought you’d want to know.

Vilros fails to dissapoint yet again!
This has to be the best alternative to the ripoff the original 5amp charger is for the PI 5. It works flawlesly, provides consistent current and is a fraction of the cost! super happy with my purchase!Make sure you use one of these to avoid performance restriction and peripheral shutdown due to lack of power!
