Bought this for my daughter on her sweet 16 party and loved it. Few weeks later I’d ask her how’s the computer she said I’m using it right now! She likes it lol.

Almost perfect, almost!
I did the 1tb upgrade version, so space wouldnt be a issue. The screen is as good as any laptop in the sub $1k market. Port selection and I/O is on par. Be nice if haf SD Slot, and provided stylus (Not the end of the world). Software is great, and im a huge Chromebook Supporter. The flexibility this device offers is amazing. Speakers are average, but be honest most laptop speakers are basic. I added a Penoval 2.1 USI pen, and JBL Charge 5 Speaker, and a set of Soundcore Earbuds. If looking for a upgradeable chromebook on Amazon, Id suggest this, if NEED s touchscreen. Battery life is insane, for something so small, and powerful.

Bouncing screen
I loved my first acer. Never had a problem until the screen died 5 years later. This new one lasted less than 2 months before it would lock up, bounce, shut off the keyboard and trackpad. Calling Acer support was a joke. They had me do all the things I had already tried and then a full factory reset. Just like before it lasted less than 24 hours. I rely on this for work – and am now losing productivity!

Very User friendly
Just received this today and it was a lot more then what I think I was gonna get but itâs super nice! Works very well and quick. Love the tablet style of it and laptop for when laying in bed.

Useless Laptop with useless operating system.
The only good about this chromebook is the Intel Evo 5 processor, the rest is us a Chrome web browser. All android apps will run in phone or tablet mode, but not in full screen. For the money this latptop cost, you can buy two lenove tablet P12 and will have all the same functionaity plus all your apps will run in full screen mode, plus the same browser experience. Chromebook is bulky and abttery life no good at all.

Good Choice for College
I recently purchased this laptop and it has been perfect for what I need it for. I was searching for a budget-friendly, nice laptop for college that I could do light gaming on (Roblox, Minecraft, sims, etc.). This was a good choice for that! It is also light enough and compact enough to fit in a backpack, small tote bag, etc.

Satisfied overall but lacks fit/finish of Pixelbook
I bought this to replace my not-so-old Pixelbook which was succumbing to a swelling battery and no means to replace it (Thanks Google 🙁 ). Speed of the Acer is on par with the Pixelbook but the feel of the keyboard keys, the finish of the bezels, the screen quality and speakers don’t measure up to the pixelbook. Still, I’m pleased with the purchase. By comparison with my wife’s Dell XPS-13/i7, this Acer chromebook is much faster and more stable. For my laptop needs I’ll take Chrome OS over Windows any day.

Excellent 14″ Chromebook
Very impressed with this Chromebook. This is a rocket ship compared to the old 11.5″ Asus Chromebook I had previously. Bright, crisp HD graphics, fast performance with its upgraded 13th Gen i5 Intel CPU and fast SSD makes this thing sing. Love the Gorilla Glass screen, makes for nice super smooth scrolling on the responsive touch-screen. The games I’ve played so far run buttery smooth. Also love the back-lit keyboard for when I’m using it in low-light conditions. For a smaller Chromebook like this, the upgraded DTS audio sounds great. And one thing that I wish all notebooks had is the fact that it has TWO Thunderbolt 4 compatible USB-C ports, ONE ON EACH SIDE, so whichever side is most convenient for you to use for charging, etc., its got you covered. A thoughtful touch. And the fact it came with its own nice padded sleeve is just icing on the cake. Yes, this Acer Chromebook is more expensive then most other 14″ Chromebooks but with all its features I found it to be easily worth every penny. Nice work Acer!

The touchpad was not working and we found the support we received from Acer extremely unhelpful. The computer has been returned and I have decided to buy from another manufacturer
