Works with Chromebook, Windows, and Ubuntu
Little ones broke the headphone jack in my Chromebook one afternoon during a “its my turn” tug-a-war with it. Looking for a quick solution to the lack of an headphone jack I came across this USB Audio hub thingy. I liked the fact it had two headphone jacks which came in handy so both my kiddos could plug in their own headset while sharing the screen.Tested it out immediately after I got it on the Chromebook and it worked like a charm. As soon as I plugged it in, Chrome OS recognized it as an audio device and I didn’t have to mess with any of the settings to get it to play the audio through it. Had similar experiences when I tried it on my Windows and Ubuntu desktop. Both OS’ had zero issues playing audio through it.I’ve been using it on and off since I purchased it on May 2020 and I haven’t notice any issues with. Sound quality comes out crisp and clear with no static or any other form of interference.I’m glad I found this little thing and would have no issues buying another one if the need should arise or recommending it to someone else looking for a similar solution.

Work beautifully
I like it, cheap way to fix sound. My sound card stop working. I was looking for a card to replace, but saw this and worked great, did not have to open computer case or download driver. Plug and play

Better than expected
I bought this for my laptop that doesn’t come with a microphone jack. I wasn’t sure how well this would work because sometimes things online aren’t as promised technology wise. This was not one of those things. It exceeded my expectations. It’s really durable and very handy. The sound quality isn’t crap. It’s actually really nice (Then again my headphones are nice) No problems with my mic at all. Both USB ports work perfectly. No complaints so far and I’ve had it for almost two months.

It works!
After reading reviews for this external sound card, I wasn’t too sure how it would be but figured it couldn’t hurt to try it. I ordered one, got it yesterday and am now able to use my headphones again. At first, the sound was very quiet and I was sure this was a waste of my money. I started to disconnect the headphones and as I pulled the jack out a little, the sound got really loud. So, I just don’t push the jack in all the way and I am in business again! 🙂 It’s worth it’s money to anyone who just wants to be able to hear videos and such again. I haven’t connected more than my headphones. This review is just for using headphones alone.

Eh.
Nice idea, like the style and that it’s compact, like it as a USB hub, thankful the audio is better, but doesn’t do everything I’d like as well as I’d like.Didn’t mind buying this to prove to myself that the sound card on my motherboard is just going to hell instead of the house wiring – with my speakers plugged into this I no longer have any annoying pop or crackle. While it rectified the horrible crackle if I’m loading certain games(particularly Ark) and have people blabbing in Discord the audio will slow down, lag, and stutter for the entire duration of the loading screen.Unfortunately this also seems to be useless for plugging my mic into. Windows/VIA HD drivers have an option for microphone boost in the level properties which I need to have constantly set at +20db for other people to comfortably hear me without straining. With the mic going through this device there is no boost in the level properties and I am even more impossible to hear than usual.

Would You Kindly
Mainly for desktop PC.Before: speakers plugged into soundcard, needed to use a mic and headset splitter to use my headset along with switch audio over in RealTec settings before finally being setup. After: plugged this straight into the soundcard via usb, moved my speakers into the headset only input (right cord) and plug my headset into the Mic/headset duo port (left bottom cord) without a splitter needed.Result: with both speakers and headphones plugged in I get sound from both with no problems or hiccups. To stop audio in one or the other just simply unplug one cord, no adjusting multiple cords or settings. All convient on my desk at an arms reach rather than crawling under my desk every time anymore.Bonus: It has a frickin light up bee/hornet on it. You obviously know that this alone is a great deal breaker if you got this far in my review and haven’t decided yet. So what are you waiting for, it’s cheap, it’s easy to setup – plug it in, that easy. “Would you kindly” buy this product.

Very handy and functional, usb ports are great
I got this for my wife to use with her laptop. She has external speakers w/subwoofer, and headphones. When she would swap out the plug between the two, it would pop loudly. I suspected her audio port was getting loose, as it’s an older laptop. This is exactly what she needed. It allows her to plug her speakers into this hub, and then her headphones into the 2nd headphone port when she needs them. She has an inline switch to turn the speakers on/off so it won’t play out of both. There are other hubs out there, but this one has the added advantage of having USB ports, which she needs. The light and logo isn’t really her style, but it’s easy to cover. Helps tidy up her desk.

Mic/audio quality is awful.
Yeah itâs easy to use, looks nice, high quality braided USB cable, but overall awful. I got this in the mail yesterday. Originally bought it because my headphone jack on my laptop broke and I needed audio in both ears. Saw the description of this and thought it would be perfect and itâs cheap! When it got in the mail, I plugged it in, windows said itâs all setup, when I opened up an application where my mic is used, someone screened at me and said there is a high pitch whining coming from my mic. The audio coming in my headphones had a ton of feedback and scratchy sound. On top of that, windows does not allow any sort of level adjustment on it so you canât change the volume for the mic gain or anything of the sort because itâs a USB adapter. Very very disappointed.
