Useful screen protection
I naively ordered this thinking it was a replacement screen cover for cracked iMac displays. It’s not. What it is just a protector to prevent the screen from getting smashed.
It doesn’t replace the existing glass. Instead it adheres strongly to the existing screen. If like me, you already have a cracked screen, it does offer a little more protection and prevents your cracked glass from cracking further. I wish I’d got this before my screen cracked. Use this as a preventative measure rather than a fix for broken screens and you can’t go wrong. But it’s NOT a replacment glass as I initially thought.

It looks FANTASTIC! Before I put this screen on, I was frantically wiping down my original screen, as it had random specs that would come off with a bit of elbow grease. My worry was that those specs would screw with the installation of the screen, but they don’t! My next worry was that installation would be sweat-inducing. Well I’m happy to report that installation was a breeze! With the assistance of the middle webcam on my iMac, I got it as perfectly centered as I could, and I soon as I got it on, The reflection staring back at me was CRAZY! The crystal clear screen was just so impressive, I couldn’t help but admire myself, but I digress, I am overall super happy with this screen protector!
