Excellent quality if you don’t need answering system
Bought the original set of two in Fall of 2008, and after more than a year of use I can certify that this particular phone set is a excellent quality phone with the added characteristics of being reliable and simple to operate. We liked the original system so well that I later purchased the additional handsets to bring the system up to the maximum of six. Additional handsets plug in anywhere you have an AC outlet. Once you have “sync’d” the new sets to the existing system – simple with the instructions enclosed with each additional handset – you’re ready to use. These phones are very user-friendly, with buttons clearly marked “Talk” and “Off”. Every handset can function as a handsfree speakerphone, handy when you need both hands for whatever else you are working on. LCD screen, which lights up when in use, has a font which is mid-size and easily readable – not as small as some phones, but not as large as some other Panasonic models. The intercom feature is cool, too – you can select from the numbered sets listed on the LCD screen to ring any other unit in the house. Reception is unusually good – our most distant handset operates clearly and cleanly over 80 feet away from the base unit through several walls – and the DECT 6.0 does not interfere at all with other wireless equipment throughout the house.
The only negative I can come up with is that these phones could be a bit less expensive, considering that the system does not have an answering machine component, but now that they have been out a while the price appears to be decreasing, which can only make them that much more attractive. I strongly recommend this particular model for anyone who wants complete coverage in a large house and uses phone company-supplied voice mail service.

Excellent
This phone has been a solid performer for 3 months now. It is well designed and attractive, has good features, is compact and easy to use, and is durable. It has a lighted display, though not a lighted keypad. The shared directory is wonderful – setup once, use the names and phone numbers on all handsets. I’ve ordered two additional handsets to bring the count up to five. The speaker phones are plenty loud, volume is adjustable, and the call waiting, caller id, redial, and voice mail functions easy to use. I use a phone all day (an hour or so of calls) without moving it back to its cradle and rarely see the battery move off the ‘full’ status.

matches the set I have
this was a perfect match to my older kxtg9341s set. I had 3 phones in the original set but we moved and I needed one more and I can not find them in stores. this phone works perfectly. I set it up and while it was charging it beeped for me to connect it to the base unit, so I followed the directions and it hooked right up to the main system. today it is charged and ready to use, and I already tested the page system (the main reason I love this set) and I can page people in the room with that phone. very happy to have found this and at a great price too!

Not working as expected
The batteries that came with two of the handsets don’t recharge. And one of the handsets won’t register with the base.

good phone, but too fragile!
I have no complaints, other than be careful you don’t drop the handset, even on a soft surface like carpet from only a few feet up. Afterward the phone will intermittently conk out in the middle of a conversation, which is VERY annoying! This is my 4th handset, after dropping the other 3 at various times. When this one goes I’m buying a NON-PANASONIC replacement!

Warning: two out of three handsets replaced so far…
I bought a three handset system (KX-TG6313S) just over three years ago. In that time two handsets had to be replaced.
The first was a warranty return. Panasonic sent me a replacement (a refurbished unit?) which itself had flakey audio quality. I was too busy to follow up at the time.
The second began to fail two years into light duty. If the speakerphone was activated while a call was being placed the handset (which is actually a small computer) would reboot (!): the text on the LCD would turn upside down, the phone would restart, and then indicate it needed to be recharged. Once this happened it would continue happening unless left alone for several hours.
I recently replaced both.
Besides the failures, the handsets are technically and physically comfortable to use. Battery life has never been an issue — they use 33% of their charge after about two hours; on speakerphone, a charge lasts at least 75 minutes.

Another great Panasonic cordless phone
I bought this phone to add to my set to compliment for use in my shop, which is about 100′ away from the house. I needed a good cordless anyway, so it dawned on me to buy another phone for my set. The main reason I bought it is for the intercom feature. I was thinking of buying a hard-wired intercom but decided that this would work perfectly. Now, my wife can “buzz” me from the house phone to my cordless in the shop, and still have a great cordless phone in both locations. It works perfectly. I have used Panasonic phones for years and as always, this phone works great, with good sound and other features. Could not be more happy with this phone. I received it in 4 days with Super Saver free shipping from Amazon.

Couldn’t ask for much more…
This is an addition to the base unit and 2 satalite units it came with. I have added 2 satalite units to the set total. I love the way you can input phone numbers just like a cell phone and it shows on every unit.
We use them alot for the intercom feature due to our house being very large and 3 floors. We do get some crackling on the phones, but I believe that is because the base unit is so far away. I think if I switched the base to the middle of the house it would solve the problem, but it doesn’t happen much.
They are easy to dial and the volume goes loud enough for even my Mom who is hard of hearing. It is super easy to add units to the configuration by holding the “locate” button the the base for 4 seconds and then pressing “ok” on the hand unit. It then assigns a number so you can call from unit to unit. Also if someone is using one of them you can still call between others not in use.
I would suggest purchasing this to anyone.
