Great ThinkPad model, for personal or business use
Been using/spec’ing this laptop for over a week, and it’s a great unit in my ownership lineup. I’m very happy that the good reviews for T460s have match my experience using it. So far, it’s operating perfectly, and I expect it to perform well for many years. Also, the seller was a great help in ensuring the system was exactly as needed and wanted, many thanks to them.

Great laptop with some nice upgrades
Great laptop with some nice upgrades. However it had a bit more scratches on it than the seller said it did. I’m satisfied, but would have been nice to be told about the numerous top scratches and wear marks.

I bought the computer a year ago. Suddenly there are some black spots on the computer screen. I contact the Lenovo repair center and was told I won’t be charged as long as there were no cracks on the computer screen. I am sure there are no cracks. But today I got an email from Lenovo and was asked to pay 530 dollars for the repair work. It’s so disappointing. I will never buy Lenovo product any more.

Way below expectations – especially for a new high-end notebook
I’ve owned the i7-6600u model since it was available (first week). It’s very disappointing, especially compared to what I’ve come to expect from Lenovo. I held out for Skylake, and in addition to seeing zero performance improvement over Broadwell, the battery life is absolutely abysmal.Pros- Great IPS screen (Full HD/1920×1200)- Fast (i5 and i7)- Starts up very quickly (3-5 seconds with everything installed)- Lightweight – gives X1 Carbon a run for its money- Looks like a premium machineCons- Build quality below earlier models – black coating easily chips off, screen is slightly ‘warped’ (see photo)- Battery life is TERRIBLE – I’m averaging 3.5 hours versus “up to 10.5 rated”- No removable battery (sealed case)- Tech support is iffy – I feel like a pinball bouncing around from organization to organization- Keyboard is below earlier models & standard T460 or performance T460p- Windows 10 resolution plays games when connected to an external display – you have to set it back to “Windows 8 DPI mode” to prevent external screen from being blurry
