I’ve been using this for a few weeks now & I like it!
This mouse (🐀) seems to work excellent! Simple design and easy to hold for quite a while. This mouse is quite responsive which is useful for playing games. If you are need of a simply good mouse this is an excellent option. I’ve noticed the battery seems to last quite a long time which is quite a nice benefit. I do hope this last!:D

Software could use work, value mouse for gamers on a budget
I bought the Solakaka SM800 and am not paid for this review. It was on sale and even without, it looked like a budget banger at $50. I’d not really seen it reviewed so I thought I’d pitch in- For reference, I have 18cm long hands and I’ve used the following mice:Logitech G402, G403, G305Razer Viper UltimatePulsar Xlite V2 WirelessFantech Aria XD7Darmoshark M3Compared to the other mice, the SM800 is quite a good value. My most comfortable mouse is the G403 on palm grip, but due to wrist issues is no longer viable for me. Second to that is probably the Darmoshark M3 with a mix of claw/palm.That out of the way, the grips coming out of the box of the SM800 are OK (not trash like the XD7’s spongy grips) and are flush with the parts that need grips. Clicks are quite heavy, but not at all mushy compared to other mice. The mouse skates are awful out of the box- they are incredibly scratchy compared to my Darmoshark M3, Xlite V2, Fantech Aria XD7. After running it around my Aqua Control Super for about a day, it wears down and glides better, but it is still scratchy. I compared how the glide feels and although it’s scratchy, it does appear to glide faster than my XD7. It is about the same as my Xlite V2 and M3, but those are not scratchy at all. For the shape- it is surprisingly similar to my Viper, except that the middle hump is a bit higher so the top part of my palm right below my fingers tends to touch the hump. I think if the hump was slightly lower and the rear palm was higher, this would be my perfect mouse. Weight balance appears to be well done- it barely tilts towards the front when I hold it with two fingers at the bottom center of the mouse. This is in contrast with my Darmoshark M3 which tilts more heavily towards the front, although that does not present an issue due to the size of the mouse. The software is quite basic and kinda misses some things (Driver: Solakaka SM800 mouse 20230816)- it has settings for DPI, LED, Polling Rate, and Lift-off Distance. In addition, you can re-map all the keys and attach macros. Unfortunately, even though the software comes with a profile manager, it does not let you cycle profiles with a click of a button. This is a pain since I want a separate settings mode for gaming and a separate settings mode for office work. Another thing that’s annoying is that it does NOT let you type in a DPI value- it contains a set of awfully small sliders that you can move up and down. If you want more granularity, you can use tap the slider and then use your scrollwheel to move it up and down in increments of 50. In addition, there appears to be no setting for click debounce time which is standard in other 3rd party manufacturers such as Darmoshark, Pulsar, and FanTech. I checked online and found that there’s other mice such as the Attack Shark X3 and the Kysona M600 that have similar drivers- the X3 is basically the same driver but the Kysona M600 lets you lower the debounce time and also lets you configure the DPI by typing numbers. I am not sure what the default debounce is, but being able to lower it and adjust it should be a consumer choice. One other annoyance is that it does NOT let you configure sleep time. This is probably the quirkiest part of the mouse because of how it works- see below.I’ve had the mice for three days (charged fully before use) and it is still at 90% battery at 1000 hz polling rate, playing maybe 3 hours of games each day. It is hard to say whether the battery indicator is accurate, but if it is, this is quite an efficient mouse. That said, the way the mouse sleeps is REALLY quirky and does not sleep like a normal mouse- when it sleeps, you can only bring it back by clicking a mouse button. This is quite confusing, but I’m guessing they do it to save power. I’d like more configuration options on this part because it is annoying and not expected behavior. Some improvements they could make:PLEASE add the firmware and driver version info on your driver. I would like to know what version I’m on and would like to be able to update it. As a note, I sent Solakaka an inquiry via seller message and they have not yet answered me on how or if I would be able to update to the latest firmware. For reference, Darmoshark is quite a good seller on Amazon and steered me in the right direction for getting the latest firmware and driver. Kysona has a dedicated page to assist users in upgrading their firmwares for the dongle and the mouse. At the very least, Solakaka, answer your messages! The mouse skates leave much to be desired because they are very very scratchy- maybe they can come with spares if they can’t give better skates. The DPI settings are not very good- it should let you type DPI values instead of a weird slider and relying on the mousewheel. There is no debounce setting- it should let the user configure debounce down to 1ms and let the user decide what’s OK.Please let the user cycle profiles as a key bind (or at the very least a combination of settings)- this would let me use different settings on a button rather than having to open the software every time. This mouse is not yet well known, but I hope it addresses these minor issues. The value is decent, but it could be excellent with a bit of effort.

    Deal of the Century?
As someone who has never owned a mouse over 20 dollars, this is great. USB-C charging is super nice. LED lighting is a bonus (but only turns on when not in motion) USB connection AND 2 band Bluetooth is overkill (in a good way) It does attract fingerprints, and it feels sort of cheap, but for what it cost, it’s more than enough. Forward and back buttons take a while to get used to, but they come in handy. Even comes with a DPI button to change the sensitivity on the go. I charge it about 1 every month or two months, and it can charge while in use. It has every single thing I wanted, including a low price. It is, in my opinion, a no compromise mouse!

    Works for the most part
The mouse works well but the LED system didn’t work out of the box, it might have been knocked around too much while packaged but overall it’s pretty reliable for such a cheap price

  6. I bought some caps with them and only 15% went off so I tried a new ring and it only went off a quarter of the time and when it did go off it was very quiet

    Very good product
The wireless feature works amazing and the LEDs are pretty nice

Short lived – would not recommend.
I got this mouse thinking it would last me a while. It had good reviews and was a great price. After having and using the mouse for a little over two and a half weeks, it is becoming highly unreliable. It freezes constantly and roams of its own accord. It’s battery life is poor (as in only lasts about 6 hours) and it disconnects itself from Bluetooth every time I restart my pc. I would not recommend this mouse as it is short lived and low quality. Perhaps I got a defective one? But chances are, it’s just not that great.

    Awesome!
Mouse works great! Doesn’t take long to charge once it is, it lasts for weeks! Mine lasted about 2 1/5 weeks right out of the box, and I charged it and it’s still going strong lolThe only thing I guess I dislike is that the mouse only glows when you aren’t using it and goes black once you start using it.
