Great value for kids school Chromebook
The Lenovo Chromebook is an outstanding choice for families, particularly for kids, offering great value for its price. Its lightweight design and durable build make it perfect for younger users, while the Chrome OS provides a user-friendly and secure platform for both education and entertainment. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 10 hours, which is ideal for long school days or extended use at home. The system boots up quickly, and with access to Google Play, kids can easily download educational apps, games, and productivity tools. Despite being budget-friendly, it doesnât skimp on performance, handling multitasking and streaming with ease. For parents concerned about safety, the Lenovo Chromebook includes built-in virus protection and automatic updates, ensuring that kids can browse and use apps without worrying about malware or security issues. The keyboard is comfortable for typing, which is great for homework assignments or online classes.Overall, the Lenovo Chromebook is a highly affordable, reliable, and kid-friendly option that provides an excellent balance of functionality and durability at a great price point. Highly recommended for families looking for a dependable device for their children!

Touchscreen Chromebook arrived one day early.
I’ve never owned a touchscreen Chromebook before. When I saw this being available for a good price on The ‘Zon, I had to give it a try.It arrived one day early, so I was pleasantly surprised. The unboxing of the Chromebook was secured and protected. I’m currently charging it. I ran a CPU and battery test. I see the battery has a 83 percent lifespan, which is great for a refurbished laptop. The ease of setup is simple enough, just login with your Gmail account. The keyboard is standard and easy-to-use. There are volume buttons, A shutdown/sign out, lock and feedback button,HDMI,c USB and an SD card slot on the sides of the Chromebook. The touchscreen works just fine. The only thing I cannot speak on fully at the moment is the average battery life. The technical details says 10 hours. It is currently charging at 63% and it says I have 3 hours and 30 minutes of battery life left when I unplugged it from the charger. The charging history says it has been charged a little over 130 times. Either way, I think the price is pretty good. I can replace the battery myself if and when I need to.The processor speed is pretty fast. 11.6 inch screen. Comes with a charger. No blemishes. Chromebook looks like new.I’m going to be using this Chromebook for Internet browsing, checking email, school projects and the Google Suite of products. I gave this review five stars because it delivered as promised. Hope this review helps you with your decision!

Definitely not “like new” as described, but functional and will do in a pinch
***Update: I amended this review from three stars to one star, because a couple of weeks after I posted this initial review, my computer simply stopped working. It will turn on, but I get a plain black screen. With all the other issues I was having, I simply decided this was not worth the hassle and returned it. I will also note that I didn’t mention it in my initial review, but this whole process also included another purchase of the same item that was for some reason flagged as undeliverable during shipping, so I never received that one. It’s just become a massive headache that’s already worth more than $80 in my time and energy, so I opted to simply return the computer. The return process was easy at least, but I will not be buying refurbished electronics on Amazon again.I’m leaving my original review below for posterity.***I bought this computer advertised in “like new” condition for around $75. I wasn’t expecting miracles, but there are a couple things I have an issue with enough to give a 3 star review. They’re not a big enough deal to request a refund (again, $75 computer here…I feel like going through the process of requesting a return/replacement is more of hassle), but not great. If this had been advertised for its actual condition, I still might have bought it, but I’d be giving it a much better rating.Biggest one is that in my “like new” computer, the track pad is wonky. It sometimes catches clicked down in a way I can feel if I click too far to the bottom left, and I have yet to be able to successfully highlight anything because the drag is weird. Neither of these are a huge deal for the way I plan to use this computer (especially because the touch screen does work fine so worst case I just highlight by touch), but it’s less than I expected based on the listing. The other is that my computer arrived dirty, which I wasn’t surprised by as other reviewers have mentioned it, but it was kind of disappointing. I don’t think it was anything particularly gross, but there was a goopy smear on one of the device’s silver-colored hinges that was rather off-putting, along with a spray of dried droplets on the screen. Probably just grease or oil and the residue of cleaner, but let’s just say I cleaned the whole thing thoroughly before I used it.Overall, though, I just needed a really cheap computer to get me through a couple weeks, and this fits the bill. It runs fine other than the trackpad issue, comes with a decent charger, set up easily, all that good stuff. Just, you know, be aware that you’re definitely getting what you’re paying for!

I like the size of the screen bigger than my old one. It works really well, I just had trouble finding a good writing program for it. I bought this to do some writing but can’t find a good writing app. All in all a good purchase and a good price.

When I opened up the Chromebook, a small piece of glass lodged in my thumb. All of the damage to the screen occurred before it was shipped.
