Wow. Absolutely incredible
Wow. After over probably several thousand orders spanning 10 years with Amazon, I can count the number of reviews Iâve left on one hand (Although I rely heavily on them). This item was so impressive that it absolutely warranted another.To be honest, I had forgotten that I ordered this and was pleasantly surprised to see a wonderful yet subtle packaging in the envelope. I was intrigued as to what this possible could be! What did I order that was of such great quality to be presented in this wonderful box? I investigated further and opened it to reveal this tablet (iPad) holder.Thatâs when it really hit me. From the second I picked it up I immediately realized, this is for a professional. It sets itself apart from any tablet holder Iâve seen. Iâve tried several that were heavy duty in design but were just bulky and still had plenty of plastic in them. This item however is of a solid metal construction and is truly a beauty (at least as beautiful as a tablet holder can be haha).The design is so simple yet almost elegant considering itâs versatility and brilliance. The ability to have both ends of the clamps independently adjust is incredibly convenient. Typically, clamps are spring loaded with varying tension depending how stretched it is. That setup tends to lead to a flimsy or super tight clamp depending on the tablet size you use.However with this clamp, on one side you have a lever that when released allows half the clamp to extend to whatever length you choose. The other side is cleverly containing a type of thumbscrew adjustment. Combined, you can quickly adjust the length of half the clamp while setting the tension you desire with the thumbscrew locking the tablet securely in place. Again, such a simple, functional design, yet Iâve never seen anything like it before (and Iâve bought several versions).Furthermore the placement for the 1/4 threads adds even more versatility. The ability to thread it onto a stand from behind or from the bottom means this tablet holder has enough flexibility to work for almost all your applications.I truly am impressed with this. I dabble in photography and have lots of quality equipment and I could honestly say this would fit right in with the expensive gear I already have. If youâre on the fence, I highly suggest to stop looking elsewhere and pull the trigger. With amazons incredible policies you could return it anyway if you didnât like it (which I highly doubt would happen).Anyways, hope this review helps! I never figured I could get this excited for a tablet holder and yet here we are. Quality product, quality materials, quality design. Itâs a win-win. Cheers!

Finally! This is the one!
It’s like finding the love of your life. Maybe even better than that. Trust is key. I trust this device, to hold, without hurting, and keep holding, without fail. until I decide to remove it. It must hold and then attach, to whatever tripod mount I use, and said threaded mount be in a centered location, no matter how it’s used, no matter what width i choose to grip, that tripod mount point will be centered, or at least be adjustable, as this one is, within reason. I show this, in the images, and it is important. That was a major deal breaker, on an aluminum tablet holder in this price range – I returned it, as that tripod mount put the entire device off-center, and further off-center as it was widened. This tablet holder does not do that, if you open it equally, top to bottom – this design feature makes this holder unmatched, in it’s ability to be closed up very compactly when not in use, as well as clamp onto a lot of different sized tablets and mobile devices. I’m very very happy with this item, it is built well, very cleanly and well thought out. I do feel it could be improved, and looks as if the manufacturer possibly has it in mind, as the recesses in the bottom and top parts, where the clamping takes place, are perhaps able to be cut out, for cable routing. The way I’m using this, is with an Asus tablet, that has the power/volume +/- buttons on the side, and the data and audio ports on top – I use this tablet with one of my camera drones, making the attachment point being at the center, no matter what the opened width, a specific and crucial part of it’s design. I’m thrilled with this device, but would be over the top, if the padded landings where your device sits, were open at their center, to allow zero interference with whatever location a tablet may have it’s controls and ports. That being said, this is still THE BEST aluminum tablet mount that exists, anywhere.

Outstanding build.
Itâs all metal and very stout. Iâm using it atop a very good mount and itâs stable and does not shake.This is perfect for me as I use it to record all types of sporting events and any shake at all is trouble.The mount collapses into a small form factor. When expanded there are 2 noticeable things. The first is a thumbscrew loosened/tightner at the top and the bottom is a release lever that allows free sliding quick adjusting!Worth every penny

DOES NOT FIT IPAD 12.9 WITH A CASE
I have a case for my iPad 12.9 inch. It said it fits with it without a case. Very misleading. I have to keep taking it out of my case to use. But it seems sturdy enough, and works fine. Just wish I donât have to take the iPad out of the case every single time I want to use it. Which is quite often.

Wish I’d found this item sooner
I use this in my Jeep in conjunction with another mounting system to hold my tablet on the dash and run maps and such while off-roading. This means a lot of heavy shaking and vibrations, not to mention aggressive tilt and yaw.My last tablet holder was a Joby, which was mostly plastic. It lasted about two years with me repairing it several times. This is all metal and very sturdy. I went on a run last weekend and this mount was rock solid. I wish I would have found it sooner. Considering buying a backup just in case I lose this one.

Buscaba un soporte que no “oprimiera con rudeza” la tablet para sostenerla, en este caso el nivel de ajuste lo ejies como usuario, fijando una pequeña palanca y/o enroscando al nivel que deseas de acuerdo al tamaño de tu dispositivo y el nivel de presión que prefierssLa construcción es buena se siente resistente y de buena calidad se adapta fácilmente a celulares y tabletas. Lo ocupo con una tablet de 10.3 y ajusta bien.Este soporte no tiene brazo que lo sostenga lo debes comprar aparte. De ahà a que quizá muchos decanten por otra opción, a mi parecer cumple con el criterio de calidad/precio.

THIS is the mount you need for your iPad/tablet ! Comes in a box with a velvet pouch. Forget about the $20 plastic mount. Get this ! Sturdy, fits my iPad with a folio case. I tried it on my mini tripod and regular tripod and no problem ! Well worth the $40 I spent !
