if you have upgrades read
my kiddo has an upgraded headset. more cushion and such. this doesnât sit properly on the headset without falling off. easy fix though! command strips! allows you to velcro it on and just remove and reattach when needed to charged

VIYISI Battery Pack
It works great. It was really easy to install, and the pack charged up fast. It keeps me into the game longer than I need too. I used a velcro strap around it to keep it from sliding or coming off. Fast shipping was a plus.

Works Well, But Can Slide Off Occasionally
I recently bought the VIYISI Battery Pack for my Meta Quest 3, and while it does extend my playtime, itâs not without its issues.Pros: – Extended Playtime: The 5000mAh battery works as advertised, providing an extra 2-4 hours of playtime, which is perfect for longer VR sessions. I followed instructions to charge the battery, but mine was fully charged. Even though it was fully charged I left it to charge just to be sure. – Lightweight and Compatible: Itâs lightweight and easily attaches to both the original and Elite straps, so it doesnât add much bulk to the headset.Cons: – Tendency to Slide Off: While it generally works well, Iâve noticed that the battery pack tends to slide off the strap at times. It doesnât stay as securely in place as Iâd like, which can be frustrating during intense VR sessions.Overall, the VIYISI Battery Pack does the job by extending playtime, but the occasional slipping issue means itâs not perfect. It works, but it could be more secure on the headset.

NOT for Quest 3
This product is marketed as for Quest 3 and 2. This product is only for Quest 2. Upon opening package, Title on box say Quest 2. This will not fit on Quest 3 straps. Did not get a chance to use this product, so will only give one star.

The design is cool but battery doesn’t output enough power
The battery design is nice but doesn’t have enough power output to charge the quest while playing. It drains quite quick as well. Probably too small. Youre better off getting a higher wattage charger and putting it in your pocket or something.

Works great for quest 2
We have a well-known brand of head strap for our oculus which has a battery that connects via magnets on the back of it – but it just doesn’t provide enough additional playtime, probably due to the battery degradation over time. So when I saw this, I thought it would be great, as it just pops on the side and doesn’t get in the way of the other battery. This has enabled us to get and extra 1-2 hours or playtime, which is great when multiple people are taking turns and we need the extra batty power for a longer play session. There is really no “installation” it just slides onto the side of the head strap. You don’t have to take anything apart. Super easy.I was always concerned about the extra weight these types of batteries would add to the oculus and was worried it would throw the balance off and make it uncomfortable. However, there is no issue with this for us. Any slight imbalance is unnoticeable. Maybe it’s because we have a massive padded head strap added which is a little bulky itself (although balanced). But for us, the extra few ounces on the side causes no issues.I think this is a great option for people who already have an upgraded head strap and need a little additional playtime. Or if you don’t have an upgraded strap and want a simpler option that just slides right one the side, to add more battery power.

Sleek and Simple
It’s a great little battery life extender, especially since I’ve often found the Quest 3’s battery to die very quick on me. I’d ballpark this extends the life by about 30% in my experience.The best bit is that it’s unobtrusive, sleek, and designed to meld into the Quest like it was always meant to be there. If it were an ugly out of place chunk, I think it’d honestly be less incline to use it. It looks great when not in use or when viewed by others, but the experience of using it is also good. Unobtrusive also works to describe it’s weight, which I found totally invisible when using it. Additionally, the sleekness and low profile also keep it from banging into anything like my shoulders or from my hands/controllers from colliding with it. Best example is drawing a bow in VR, a motion that really has you bring that controller near your ear, and I never found myself bonking into it.It’s an all around good showing. Really the only improvements could be increase battery density, but I’m sure it’s being made available.
