Excellent value
I read reviews on a lot of similar PC’s and think I made the right choice. It looks almost like new and performs great.Mine did come with a cheap mouse and keyboard but I really didn’t need them anyway. Windows 10 was activated and set up was fast. It runs quiet and cool. The only issue I had, and it’s my fault for not doing my homework, was that it takes a low profile video card and the one I had won’t fit. Another frustrating thing, and this is HP’s fault, I can’t find out how much memory the onboard video unit has, and I’ve been all over HP’s site. Update: The video memory is 2 GB. My bad.Update: Amazon won’t let me review the same item twice even though I bought 2. I was so happy with the first one that I ordered another 2 days later. I’m just as happy with this one as I was the first. I was using older PC’s but I can’t believe how fast these are, and the real shocker to me was, they increased the speed of my internet by at least 30%. That was a pleasant surprise.Overall my experience with the company that refurbished this has been great.

Great inexpensive PC!
This PC is good for general use. I use it at work and does fine for what I use it. The first one I received was good but there was a software issue which was no fault of the seller so I returned it and got the same one just like it. This one was easy to set up. The PC had a few small nicks but it still looked clean and the inside of the cabinet looked brand new. No big deal that it is Win 10. This PC works great! The seller honored the warranty so no problem there. This is a great PC for the money and worthy of 5 stars. Thank You!!

clean, functional, easy to set up, fast for daily general use, mismatched RAM offends my OCD
This was purchased to replace a Windows 7 laptop for general use, web surfing etc., because Microsoft keeps sending me scary messages about end of life, though Win 7 does everything I need to do and I know where everything is and how it is named (same went for XP, bless its heart). The interior presented very clean, obviously care had been taken in the refurbishment process. The components appeared appropriate for the purpose, with one exception: RAM. There are 4 sticks of 2GB each, so total RAM is 8GB as advertised. However, only two sticks match, and were probably the originals in a 4GB machine, while the other two look like random insertions to meet the spec. One of them is the same speed as the originals, while the other is higher. Memtest86 showed zero errors, and in theory all will run at the lower speed (though perhaps not in dual channel), but I was taught not to mismatch RAM and I think that is still a good general rule, so I subtracted one star from a fine machine and transaction due to mismatched RAM.The SmallFormFactor size is nice and compact (Compaq). Cosmetically, the unit appears as new.The DVD burner is a plus for me; most laptops don’t include these anymore. Both the VGA and DP video outputs work, though the DP connection through a separately purchased adapter to HDMI is a little wonky, sensitive to just the right insertion pressure.I originally set the machine up using a wired ethernet connection and later added a USB WiFi dongle, which works fine as well. The keyboard works, but I use a different one to which I am more accustomed. The mouse is actually quite good.Overall I am happy with the purchase from Skytech, which I selected because they had the highest rating among the authorized refurbishers selling this particular machine on Amazon.

What a great computer for such a cheap price.
I thought I would get this just for simple bookkeeping, emails and writing letters. I am super happy to say my games all play well also. It is equal to my other desktop I paid almost $1000 for. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a home computer. I had one simple problem as the wifi adapter wasn’t working well when I recieved the computer. BUT one simple email and the company immediately got back to me and sent me a new adapter which took care of the simple problem. I will order from this company again.

Look Before You Buy
Only had it two days, the minute I powered it on It sounded like an airplane was getting ready to take off. Also, the TPM is only 1.2. And it’s not set for a secure boot. That means it doesn’t Meet the requirements to upgrade to Windows 11 ever. Also since I got it every time it boots up. I get a blue screen memory management error. Do not buy this item or from this company. I had a unit less than thirty days. It had memory issues choose. It wouldn’t detect the network card for ethernet plus it has no Wi-Fi card. When I reached out to the Seller their response was to open it up and reseat the cards. Like I’m a technician, I think they just want you to open it up so that they can avoid replacing the unit i’m not stupid. I didn’t touch the unit I went directly to amazon. Not good customer service from this seller.

Exactly What I Needed
I ordered 2 computers. They came within the timeframe initially given (about a week). Both came with a keyboard, mouse, wifi usb, and windows 10 product key was on the unit itself. Neither came with power cords, which personally I would have expected to have power cords over a keyboard and mouse. I used a power cord I already had to test the computers out. The first computer’s light came on then the fan kicked on and sounded extremely loud, I waited more than the recommended 20 minutes for it to boot up, it never did. I waited for probably about an hour before unplugging it and calling it a lost cause. The second computer’s light came on and then it immediately showed the Dell logo on the monitor. The fan was quiet. Started right up, no problems. I started the return process for the first computer and had no issues with them accepting it. I immediately placed an order for another computer through this company and it came in even less time (3 days). This package came from a different location (per the tracking) and packaging looked a little differently. It came with a power cord, a keyboard, a mouse, but no wifi usb. Windows 10 was already loaded on it so I didn’t need a product key. It was the same exact computer as the first order. Plugged it in, immediately started up with no issues. Overall, I am very satisfied. It wasn’t perfect but for the price and need, I am satisfied.

Only quirk with the one I got is that becasue there are no DVI or HDMI ports I had to get a DP-to-DVI adaptor cable to support my monitor, and that is giving me a bit of screen flickering on POST & boot. However, I cannot blame the refurbisher for that as I have no way to know if it is the monitor, the adapter or the PC that is causing that; it doesn’t matter anyways becasue once I get to the login screen everything is fine. The machine is as fast as you can expect for it’s specs, more than fast enough for what I am using it for. The case is (as expected) not a standard ATX configuration but that’s OK.There are two HDD cages; one under the PSU and another under the DVD drive. The one under the PSU is populated, the other is not. The SATA-power cable that supply the drives includes an unused plug at the unpopulated HDD cage, so I could add one drive to this PC if I wanted to. There is no spare SATA data cable so if you need to have two HDD drives be prepared to get your own. Fun fact: Despite there being only three SATA power plugs there are four SATA power headers on the motherboard. There are seven sets of unlabeled unused pin headers on the motherboard, I can only guess at their functions. Two of them appear to be fan headers, but they are not. Two appear to be either USB of IEEE-1394 headers (I have not tested those). There are two sets of two-pin headers (possibly unused jumper pins), the other is a strange 5-pin header. It would be nice if I could get a motherboard manual for this machine.

The Tower arrived in clean condition, pretty close to new looking. The chip spec was right on on the fine drill down points, i.e it had the one chip, as promised, that met the Zoom spec of the day to support green screen and to run video processing pretty fast for such an inexpensive and older machine. The Windows 10 Pro license is nicely provided and Microsoft recognised it straight up. I recommend removing the hard drive and cloning it before you ever turn on the computer. The small vendor manual anticipates your needs. The external card guide on the case was bent and needed a bit of vise grip TLC. 5 minutes of careful no rage wrenching and it was good to go. I recommend the vendor and would buy from them again.

Worked great right out of the box it even has built in wifi card so I didn’t need wifi adapter. Only problem was Microsoft update for windows 10 crashed the system so I had to do a system restore but that’s not suppliers fault.
