My 4 year old wanted some of these like her brothers had. She gets overwhelmed with the crowd noise, whistles, and buzzer at basketball games so has used them for that purpose mostly. They seem to be comfortable and have adjustability. She can still hear but it muffles the sound enough to make it easier to manage.

ProCase Kids Ear Protection – this particular item comes with two: one black and one blue. Each ear protector comes in its own box, then the two boxes are boxed together…(for those who are interested in the packaging). I bought this particular brand due to its price and reviews. My child is sensitive to noises. He panics and runs away when he hears the hand dryers and toilet flushing in the public restrooms. We can’t watch a parade or a show without him throwing a tantrum because of the noise in his ears. We can’t enjoy a ride at the amusement parks because we have to focus on covering his ears during the ride. These are just a few examples of his noise sensitivity. So I bought these in hopes that it will help him in those situations. And I’d say it worked! But full disclosure -These ear protectors don’t completely block out the noises. It blocks certain decibles of noises. So, Yes, he can still hear me talk, and that’s what I wanted. I wanted him to still hear me, especially if I need to speak with him with the ear protector on. It’s not convenient to put them on, then take off just to say a few words to him, then put on again, and repeat. This was especially helpful when we were in line for a ride at the amusement park. He was busy observing the scenery around him that he didn’t noticed the line moving. So I called out to him and he heard me. If he didn’t hear me, it would have been worrisome for me for many reasons. With this said, these ear protectors were still able to block out the “loud” noises that usually bothers him since they block certain decibles of noises. We were able to ride the rides that bothered him before without any issues, watch parades and shows, watch fireworks, etc. But if I’m to be critical, I gave this product 4 stars because it doesn’t adjust smoothly to fit my child’s head. If you look at the photos I uploaded with this review, the metal that connects the ear muff to the headband is what can be extended and retracted for adjustments, which can get “sticky” sometimes. I guess it just takes practice and finesse to get it right. Another is the tightness. It felt like it would be tight around my child’s head since it felt so stiff. But he said it was fine and didn’t hurt his head. For reference, my child’s head circumference is 52 cm. Would I buy this again? Yes. Would I recommend? Yes.

Great noise reduction
I occasionally watch an autistic child and these were perfect to keep a lot of the noise out yet. Still allow the child to play comfortably with others.

Toddler Approved
My 2 yo son typically covers his ears and closes his eyes the entire duration of his sister’s basketball game because of the loud buzzers and whistles. These headphones worked perfectly and he was able to enjoy the game and cheer his sissy on without his auditory sensitivity holding him back. I definitely recommend these.

My son have autism, this is the 2nd pair I bought. He likes this headset not too tight and comfortable. I bought this 2nd pair so he can bring it to school and the old one at home. The other brand he had, his not using it. It hurts his ears and tight.
