It all fits, but just barely
I received my order today and I have some mixed feelings about this case.Pro:The case is as described. It’s got paddling inside and the shell is hard enough to protect the Analogue Pocket. I got the Purple and I like the shade. I wanted it to be different from other cases I own so I could recognize it easily.Con:It’s tight. The Pocket currently has 4 adapters for accepting several different types of games. The Game Gear, NeoGeo Pocket/Color, Lynx, and TG16. They just barely fit, and it’s tight against the Pocket. There is a padded flap in-between, but it still makes me nervous. Three adapters fit just fine, but the fourth just has very little room and pushes out against the Pocket.If Analogue creates another adapter (say for Sega My Cards) then I will be forced to find a different solution as there is no way to fit anything else on the case. I can fit the USB-C power charging cable, but there’s no room for a wall adapter.Another small point that bothers me is the velco strap that keeps the Pocket in place. The velcro overlaps and rests against the screen, and it’s the hard side not the padded side. I’m not certain why this wasn’t fitted better so that the velcro was covered by material. I don’t expect it to scratch the screen, but protecting the screen is one of the reasons I bought the case to begin with.Finally I was shocked at how the case was shipped. It was in a clear cellophane bag with the label on it. I’m all for reducing too much packaging, but this seemed like a bit too bare-bones for my taste.My verdict:Overall I am happy with the case. I just wish a little more care and space had gone into the design.
