Champagne taste
Pretty easy to assemble. Had a hex bit for my power drill so it went a little faster. Headphone and drink holders were a nice touch. Itâs definitely bare bones, but itâs light, movable, sturdy and value priced. The faux carbon fiber surface is nice. The monitor shelf could have been a few inches deeper. The rack holder units are nice, I ordered some outboard gear today. Canât wait to get finish getting setup.

A Very Well Designed Desk For Home Studio Use!
Super easy to assemble. Very sturdy. Wheels are great for occasional access to the rear. Fits 61 Key Midi Controller. Wire management was well thought out. I would suggest using a chair without arms or with arms that lift up so you can move in closer when mixing to form an equilateral triangle with the monitors. Grant it, I am only 5’6″ tall so I have no problem with leg clearance under the keyboard and the height of the monitors is in the Goldilocks Zone. I intend to buy isolation foam that can angle slightly downwards. I got the yellow version on sale for a super low price. The yellow works well for me in my dark basement studio.

Just what I needed
The desk is great, 4 years and still great. The I my issue is that I can’t adjust the height of the desk and the keyboard drawer so it could be in the way sometimes. Otherwise it’s sturdy and strong, looks good and was decently easy to assemble. When I move it will be a pain tho

Useful
Plenty of room for a small studio set up. The slide out for the 61 keyboard is super helpful as this saves on work space. I don’t have rack effects so I can’t day anything about. The Desi does sit a tad low and when buying a chair make sure to note the height measurement of the sliding drawer. The desk does seem to have a slight wobble but overall quality is great. The color yellow is kind of ugly but it was on sale so it’ll do. Cable management in the back is something to think about considering there is no panel to hide a wire jungle.

Hidden Gem
If you’re looking for something with slanted rack space, and decent amount of desk and tray space, you will NOT find a better solution for under $200.My perfect desk would be a “triple wide” with a lower monitor shelf (3u rack space instead of 4 in each of the 3 bays). There are a few available with that configuration, but at 4 to 5 times the cost. Why? If you don’t care about slanted racks, then you’ll have no problem finding something. I really wanted the slant. This thing is light, yet sturdy, and works great. Cool cable management tray, and the grated back plate makes zip tying cables easy. I got the all black. It has a wicked cool carbon fiber appearance. The only quibble would be that once fully built, you won’t be able to put rack screws in the bottom holes of whatever you have mounted there. It doesn’t really matter though as long as you put screws in top portion of unit. The gear will be slanted so gravity holds it in place. If you really wanted to, you could mount the gear before securing the main desk to the frame. No complaints here. I’m glad I found this desk.

Great Quality for a Great Cost
I bought this for my first apartment because it was cheap and versatile. The yellow was super ugly and I bought this version because it was $50 cheaper than the white one. I ended up spray painting it sea foam green and itâs great looking now. It fits my 62 key Prologue. The desk is very sturdy and holds my heavy Mac Desktop as well as my studio monitors. I had a big rack unit compressor set up as well and it held tight. The cables are kind of hidden but the desk is very sleek and slim so whatever is behind or other the desk will be seen. Overall, this is a great product and I highly recommend for anyone at any stage in the home studio process.

Surprise… NO CURSING During Assembly! – A Very Nice Music Production Desk For The Money
Because I was moving my studio, this actually sat in storage for a couple months before I was able to assemble it. Based on a few negative reviews regarding missing parts, I was happy upon opening to find all of the parts, hardware, etc, and no damage whatsoever. The biggest shocker was that assembly was a breeze, especially compared to many other DIY assembly items I’ve bought in the past. Instructions were minimal with simple diagrams. All in all this desk went together far easier than expected – there was NO CURSING… and that was my biggest surprise. It is a one person job, but two people would’ve made it even faster. The desk is well designed and manufacturing standards are obviously excellent as everything lined up perfectly for frustration free assembly. Plus, it’s sturdy and has some weight to it. The only thing I would change if I had my way would be for the desk top-shelf to be a little bit deeper – as it is now, it’s about 7″ of usable space – maybe 9-10 inches. That’s admittedly my nitpicking. I’m lucky… it arrived undamaged with all parts. Highly recommended, but if you can, buy via Amazon Prime, and you will get Free Returns in the event of a problem.
