Decent tablet for my toddler during car rides
I purchased the Kids Amazon 7 Tablet for my 2-year-old daughter, and it has been a great addition to our car rides. She loves the games and videos available, and the kid-friendly design gives me peace of mind while she uses it. The parental controls are easy to set up, and the included case is durable enough to handle the inevitable drops and tumbles. However, the tablet is a little bit slow at times, especially when switching between apps or loading content. While itâs not a dealbreaker, itâs something to keep in mind if your child tends to get impatient.Overall, for the price and features, itâs a solid tablet for young kids. It keeps my daughter entertained on the go, and I appreciate the worry-free warranty in case anything happens. Definitely worth considering if youâre looking for a budget-friendly option for toddlers!

Gets the Job Done
Well for one, I didnât realize I wouldnât be able to get YouTube kids on this device ALTHOUGH, they have a videos tab that you will find literally everything you would find on YouTube kids. Itâs definitely ideal for 2-6 years old I would say. Donât expect the tablet to be as fast as an iPad , but itâs not slow either. It just needs a little patience, but overall itâs good for a starter tablet. If youâre considering getting your little a tablet, this is the tablet that is affordable and can be used as a tester until youâre ready to upgrade when you know they can take care of their things. So far so good, we will probably keep these for about a year before we upgrade, so well worth it.

Good for starter Tablet
I recently purchased this tablet for my child / baby. The size is perfect, and it’s very lightweight. The battery life is very good, and it comes with a protective case. The screen might need a screen protector, but it’s well protected by the raised edges around it. The Fire OS is amazing. It runs smoothly and doesn’t give kids too many options that could cause damages. Everything is ready to use right out of the box. I do have some concerns about the OS, though. It has some unwanted apps that I think should be removed or at least allowed to be removed. I’ve used it occasionally for web browsing, and it’s fine, though not the fastest. Streaming videos and playing basic children’s games is also fine. The battery charging time is good. I added a 128GB mSD card to increase the storage space. I’ll be putting some offline videos and other content on it. By the way, you can sideload Google Play onto this tablet.

A Lot of Pre-Loaded apps, games etc.
Although this is a great product with a long life, it did not suite my needs, and I have come to hate it, lol!For someone more tech savvy, I think my complaints would not even be an issue. Some people may get it for all the kids apps and games and a free year of Amazon Kids, but that was not my goal. I wanted to put only the games on it that my grandson was allowed and capable of playing and thought I could download them from the online game store, but it was really difficult. I read somewhere to put it on airplane mode and you could do more, with less pre-downloaded “stuff.” At some point we downloaded a game that brought a virus, and getting it removed tested all my patience and took many hours to accomplish. I then tried to load an anti-virus program, and couldn’t find a way to do it. So, it was not what I expected, but perhaps I was clueless as to how this tablet was made to work. If you want simple, I don’t think this is the one for you either, but if your family wants all of that and is familiar with how to navigate Amazon Kids and Kindle Fire…then go for it, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Does the job
Bought this for my 2 year old. He loves it. Itâs easy to use and navigate. Has a lot of learning games which is wonderful for him. I also love the fact that you can download the app to your phone and set a screen time limit to automatically lock the tablet or can push the pause button and it will lock them out. Super easy to do. Itâs android so itâs a bit on the slower side but that is to be expected. Overall it is a great price for a kids tablet

Buy it you wont be disappointed it
The Amazon Fire 7 Kids Tablet is an absolute game-changer, and I 1000000000% recommend it! My son with autism absolutely loves itâit keeps him engaged with its ad-free, age-appropriate content, and I appreciate the built-in parental controls that let me customize his experience. The 10-hour battery life is a lifesaver for long trips, and the included 2-year guarantee gives me peace of mind in case of accidents. The blue protective case is sturdy and kid-friendly, and the 16 GB storage is perfect for downloading his favorite apps and shows. Itâs hands down the best tablet for young kids!

Perfect for my 5 year old
Got this for my 5 year old so she didnât have to keep taking our phones and give her some responsibility. Tablet is the perfect size, not heavy, and it comes with a good strong case in case she drops it. Color on case is very pretty as well! I like that I can adjust how big the letter and buttons are for her. it came with a whole year of free Amazon kids which was a really good deal!! I also got to link it to my Amazon account to make it easy to set up. I got this for 60 bucks on a Black Friday deal so I really feel like this was a steal!

Son loves it!
Only issues I have is that it is slow, not a whole lot of storage so you’d have to delete photos and games to make room for different ones. And I cannot get the apps that I undownloaded off the screen so my son clicks on them and re-downloads them. But it does work without wifi on majority of the games!! Another thing is that you cannot preview games or apps, if you click on them, they will immediately start downloading.
