Runs incredibly fast and smooth
I received this tower today and am very pleased with it after figuring out some supposed issues that were really user error. I even reached out to the seller, but was able to figure out the issue I had, which was my headset was not being recognized by the installed Realtek HD Audio program. When I figured out how to have the PC recognize it, it would only pick up the mic or put out sound – not both. Well, turns out I’m just ignorant and I learned more than I ever though I would about 3.5 mm jacks. The tower I received is older with fantastic, new innards. The jacks on the front support TRS, not TRRS, jacks, so if you’re trying to use a gaming headset or something similar, you’ll need an adapter. I luckily had one lying around that I used for my laptop prior and was too stupid to realize this was the problem originally. After figuring that out, my world was right again.The stats are impressive and I’m able to run low setting games such as Rage or Borderlands on it (Intel graphics 4000), but I’m excited because I host virtual happy hours with my co-workers through Microsoft Teams. It’s a little embarrassing when your PC can’t run a simple Jackbox game through Steam while screensharing, which was the struggle of my little HP Spectre Folio. Enter this behemoth of power (for the price…and honestly in general). Runs the game smoothly while screensharing with 8 people and probably more, but have yet to test it. It starts up incredibly quick, downloads things super quickly, and I have zero complaints.I definitely plan to crack it open eventually and see if I can fit a 1080ti low pro in there, but for now, the graphics card and amount of RAM that comes with is overkill for how I’m currently using it and what I purchased it for, which was to keep up with the programs I utilize while working remotely and for college. Disc drive also works after a test today.

Good for price
Overall, this desktop is great for the price. It has 8 USB connections and 4 expansion slots. Haven’t tried the expansion slots but one of the USB connectors didn’t work. It has a DVD disk player which works. So far, I can’t get my Canon MG2522 to work with this desktop but I’ll keep trying. The Intel i7 is very fast. It came with Windows 10 which I wanted. My software won’t work with Windows 10S or Windows 11. However, it has cosmetic damage. Not a deal-breaker but it shouldn’t have been listed as “excellent” condition. It’s really huge and takes up most of my desk. Very heavy. It’s a really old model HP with new innards. It came with a 2.4 wifi adapter which works but is slow. I purchased a wifi adapter that’s much faster and works well with the desktop. It didn’t have a memory card reader so I purchased one of those. I use trail cameras that require memory card readers. I also purchased a hard drive adapter so I could transfer/use files from my dead laptop. Don’t know how long it will last but, for the price, it’s been a great purchase so far.

These are barely refurbished and may be dead on arrival
I purchased three for my company. Of the three, I had to return one because it would not boot. All of the cases were damaged in some fashion where it took significant effort to remove the side. All were once the property of a school district which had them configured to boot from the network, and to not show BIOS messages on startup. This caused the machines to take one to two minutes starting up while they were looking for their boot source from the network, and the bios had to be cleared by pushing the yellow button inside the computer so that I could configure them properly. Once the bios was set correctly, start up time was much improved.

Good Solid Computer:This is a good computer for the price. The computer did arrive in good condition and was well packed for shipping. Everything checks out to what was described on Amazon.I did open the case, very easy to open, no screws, just a solid latch to open and remove the top of the case. For a small form factor computer there is ample room in the case. Everything fits well. I was able to install my drive from my old computer. – 488GB Seagate ST350041 8AS SCSI Disk Device (ATA) Installed quite easy with lots of room. By first look inside the case at all the hardware, everything looked new and clean. However, takeing a closer look at the main fan the blades were dusty. I cleaned the fan, (Old Toothebrush works best) Blue-out the case with my air compressor and got everything clean again. Very easy to do. It has been just 2 weeks since receiving, and everything is running great! I also setup an external Hard Drive on one of the USB 3.0 ports. Very fast. Would I buy this again? Would I recommend this computer? A BIG YES!! to both questions.

This computer arrived on-time and with no physical damage. No cosmetic imperfections when closely inspecting it, either.I ended up switching the included Wi-Fi adapter to one that I used on my previous computer, as I don’t trust the cheap ones included with some computers.The computer boots up faster than expected, which is great! Had a bit of trouble setting up my Microsoft account as it wouldn’t allow me to go past entering the email address, but that was resolved by manually downloading the driver for my Wi-Fi adapter on another computer to a USB stick and then installing it on the computer.The computer runs very cool, even under high loads. I’m also using a 365W UPS connected to it in case of a power outage to allow me enough time to shut down the computer properly. As some people have asked, it comes with a 240W OEM power supply already installed. Mine also came with Windows 10 Professional pre-installed and already activated, and had Windows 7 Professional and Windows 10 Professional keys glued to the side of the computer in case they were needed. It comes with a single VGA port as well as a DisplayPort port, which are running my two Full HD monitors without any issues.I was going to purchase and install an NVIDIA Geoforce 1050Ti 4GB Low-Profile video card for gaming, but it turns out that the PCIe x16 slot on the motherboard will only support a maximum power draw of 25 Watts, which is too low for the card I was looking at. Keep this in mind when looking to install a GPU for gaming!This computer was sold by Advanced Computers and shipped by Amazon. I received it on the estimated delivery date, and had no issues.All in all, the computer I received was as described and works great. If I need another computer, I will be sure to purchase this one again.
