Great for the nursing student!
I bought the iPad for nursing school. It fits perfectly into my scrub pocket and doesn’t weigh me down. It works perfectly for the job! Sometimes it takes longer to charge depending on what charging cable I use. My other iPad doesn’t take that long to charge.

Caution: Red & Blue Splotches on Screen & Poor Battery Life
The display was damaged with red & blue splotches which are noticeable when watching any videos.Battery life is also very disappointing at less than 70% capacity of the battery when new.The touchscreen and device itself still works fine, but disappointing for its intended purpose of being a travel video device due to the bad screen and battery.

I got this for my wife for Christmas. This is her second one. The first one is wore out, it has lasted about seven years. Our grandchildren have used it, dropped it and spilled stuff on it and it never gave up. It was time for another Apple IPad mini.

Nice replacement over iPad 2
Got this as a replacement to older iPad 2 I bought 3 years ago which got slower with each iOS update. Ipad mini is way faster and has better response time.Only complaint is that it doesn’t come with GPS. You have to buy more expensive cell model for that.Clever marketing by Apple to force users to upgrade, but negative customer experience in the long wrong.I would expect a device to last at least 5 years without any major performance issues. Apple expects consumers to buy new model every 2-3 years to maximize profits.
