Firewall Fortress! fantastic investment
With the price tag, I expected a machine that would barely get me through the day. But this ProDesk 600 G3 SFF has completely changed my mind. Itâs a workhorse! I use it for everything from video editing to gaming (yes, you read that right), and it handles it all without breaking a sweat. The speed is impressive, and itâs incredibly quiet. I was worried about compatibility issues, but everything works seamlessly. If you’re on the fence about a refurbished PC, give this one a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent for firewall
Was looking for a mini pc to install either OpenWRT / DDWRT and ended up ordering this SFF pc which came in excellent conditions, clean, and working as expected. The included keyboard and mice are not particular great quality and not from big brands. Focusing on the pc, canât complain. in the end I installed OPNsense and itâs been up and running with no issues. One thing I was concerned about this vs a mini PC like protectli or qotom was the power consumption, after a week this thing rarely goes beyond 13w and handles 1G connection. Totally recommended.

Compact, powerful, very inexpensive
Came right up out of the box. Attached the included Wi-Fi dongle, and my own Logitech 270 wireless mouse and keyboard with dongle. It took a few minutes to configure Windows 10 and a few hours for Microsoft updates. So far it looks like a keeper.Note that the 7x7x1.4 inches dimensions in the listing are very wrong. The case is about 10x10x4 inches and the weight is about 9 pounds, not less than 3 pounds.HP has a lot of downloadable docs for this computer, some of which are too generic to be really useful..

Great pc for mild gamer easy to upgrade
So I got this pc a couple weeks ago and Iâve been loving it. Letâs start off with the specs. I ended up getting an intel i5-6600 3.3/3.9boost and not the stated i5-6500. It also came with a dvd-rw drive which it did not say it was included. It ran ok for some games with the intagrated graphics, but I added a Zotac gt 1030 low profile graphics card and updated the ram to Corsair vengeance 32gb 2x16gb. It games great! Iâm not playing AAA titles, I play more like cities skylines and train sims. They run great with good fps. Now I can play all my games even gta IV on medium high settings and still have a good smooth frame rate. Over all this is a great way to get a budget gaming pc for a good price. Just get an nvidia gt 1030 gpu and install it in there make sure the gpu is low profile since this a small form factor pc. the gpu needs to be smaller than .70 inches in width. I suggest either gigabyte(@.53in) or zotac(@.65in). because they are thin enough to fit in the slot and not hit the power supply. Overall Iâm very happy with my purchase. It was easy to add on to and it fits my current needs. I hope you found this helpful.

Numerous errors on this one.
Not in very good condition at all, not actually finished even on the process to resell.Sent 8Gb of RAM in single channel, two closest to the CPU, and won’t work if moved to dual or other slots, got the RED light if anything but first two slots.STRIKE 1Send Incomplete Windows 10 install, was in OOBE select screen, that is part of the refurb process, and bonus SSD was 480Gb not 512Gb.STRIKE 2Sticker residue on both PCIe slots AND the whole back of the case for the ports, was BENT so no ports were useable.STRIKE 3I fixed the last 2 strikes, I can’t fix the half the RAM, and apparently need 2*8 sticks since slots 3/4 both caused NO BOOT SITUATION.Oddly the packaging adequate, but I have bought from them before and there was no thank you and support paperwork in the boxes at all either. The keyboard that came with was cracked and mouse had stains, both went right to the trash. This was a HP Prodesk 600 G3, seller was Stallion-Tek Certified, but shipped via Amazon.I am a former hardware tech and this was embarrassingly bad.*Days later, not a peep from anyone about this, they shorted me 8Gb of RAM, that is the main issue along with the bad RAM configuration that appears to be forced with 2 bad RAM slots with my own testing.Middle of July no update update: never heard anything.

Core (mostly) as advertised, potluck what you get exactly, terrible packaging
I couldn’t beat the price for a 7th gen 4 core 3.2Ghz PC, 16GB DDR4, and 512GB(ish…) SSD.The base PC – CPU, MB, ports, 16GB RAM – came as advertised.Unexpected small bonuses:+ HP DUD1N DVD-ROM+ Super-basic USB keyboard and mouse+ DisplayPort->HDMI adapter+ USB 802.11n Wifi adapterUnexpected detriments:- Kingston SATA SSD was smaller than advertised at only 480GB (I don’t mean the classic base 2 (gigabyte) vs base 10 (gibibyte) issue either, the base 10 size is only 480Gibibytes)- Shipping box had mouse, USB Wifi, DP->HDI all loose, tossed around- Box was not properly sealed, and had open gaps on both edges at top and bottom. I’m surprised none of the loose items fell out (or maybe there were more bonus loose items which did)

Cheap but it has run well.
The one I had bought crashed, and I sent it back to be repaired. It was used, but it was a more complex machine with more on it. I bought this one to use until they returned my other one. I was so glad I bought this cheap little thing because it took them about five or six months to return it. I have been very lazy and not wanting to spend half a day downloading everything I will want like Google, Word, etc. I don’t do a lot on my computer. I use it for emails, streaming movies and shows, Facebook, and a few other things. I have kept everything on flash drives just like I had with my other computer. I learned my lesson when I lost everything. Anyway, it runs great and is very quiet. The other one made noises from the beginning until it crashed after about six months.

Very happy with a quality product and truly ‘over the top’ customer service!!! When cables were missing for the PC I purchased, I expected to have to fight tooth and nail to get a resolution to what could have been a big deal for me due to timing. To my amazement, I recieved a call within two hours and the data cables were dropped off to me by end of day. Absolutely the best customer service I’ve ever had – AWESOME JOB!!!

Excellent investment for a very good price. It also has an M.2 slot available. I installed another 512GB SSD in it. The only thing missing was the little tiny screw to fix it in place but itâs easy to order on Amazon. It doesnât have Wi-Fi but with a TP-Link AC1300 USB Wi-Fi adapter, that issue is easily addressed for 23$.
