JETech Case for iPad Pro 9.7-Inch 2016 Model (Not for iPad 9.7 5/6 2017/2018), Smart Cover Auto Wake/Sleep (Red)

Great case with great service
Overall:I bought this case back in August and it has served me well throughout that time. It’s lightweight, protects the back and front from surface scratches, and has a rubberized texture that provides a good grip while holding. The felt surface on the inside is nice and soft, does not shed or stain (even under contact with the residual fingerprint oil on the iPad screen), and does not leave any micro-scratches on the iPad’s glass surface. The iPad sleeps and auto-wakes without fault, and the fit of the case is perfect. The only caveat is that a small part of the case cracked near the power button of my iPad a week or so ago. However, the case was under warranty (6 months from the date of purchase I believe) and a short message through Amazon to the supplier resulted in a very quick reply a few hours later (very impressive!) asking for a picture of the crack. Another email with the picture attached, and the supplier replied (only 3 hours later!!) saying they would send a replacement free of charge. I received the replacement case, and it is the same one as the original, with same color and same fit. The service provided by the supplier was unexpectedly and really outstanding, especially for a case at this price-point.Positives:-Thin and light, and the openings for the buttons, speakers, and the lightning port are smooth cut without any jagged edges-The build quality of the case far surpasses expectations, and the case is a perfect fit for the iPad, without any loosenessNegatives:-The case may not protect the iPad from large drops, especially around the front edges of the screen. I have a glass screen protector that has mitigated the potential damage there.-When the front flap is flipped to access the screen, and the magnet(?) of the flap clicks onto the backside, there’s a bit of room between the flap and backside of the iPad that can prevent the back from being completely flat sometimes, but it is manageable.-The case may carry some scuff marks over time.The case is an amazing one, especially for the price, is of great build quality (even the sound it makes when the iPad first clicks in is great, but, it is also easy to pop out), and is backed by extraordinary service (from initial email to replacement was less than half a day(!) and this was on a Sunday night!). People have mistaken the case for an official one from Apple, and two of my friends have bought the case after seeing it on my iPad. I will buy from this supplier again in the future; they really make an amazing product.

Good inexpensive cover
Fits well. Feels good .. not too slippery. Worth the money if looking for one for older iPad

Thin and light cover
Exactly what I wanted It’s an extra iPad for the house, and I needed a cover to simply protect it. This fit the bill. Sturdy yet light. Strong and protective yet thin. Great product for what I needed And a GREAT PRICE!

An adequate cover for an iPad Pro 2016 9.7-inch, but not great
This case was purchased as a replacement for a worn-out Apple case (Apple no longer makes or sells the original case, so this looked like the best alternative). It is adequate, but not great. The back is hard transparent plastic (in this case, red and transparent) with a non-skid strip. It isn’t as attractive as the Apple case, nor is it soft, so it has less energy absorbing properties in case of dropping or bumping the iPad. All the speaker grills, buttons and microphone holes are exposed (which is good, some cases don’t do this properly), but across the entire bottom of the iPad, the case is open (only covers the corners) which offers less protection than the Apple case. The top cover looks similar to the Apple case, but is of lower quality material — it is soft, emulating the Apple case, but it’s neither as soft, nor as durable. Finally, the soft top cover is similar in color to the hard plastic bottom color, but they aren’t the same (they don’t really match).So all-in-all, this case was the best replacement I could find for the original Apple case, but it really doesn’t measure up in a number of ways — verdict: functional (slightly less so), but disappointing in quality.

Perfect fit for my IPad. Very nice design and quality at an excellent price especially when I compare the $15.00 cost to what I had paid for my original Apple Silicone cover !Highly recommended !

I was very impressed by this product, especially considering the reasonable price!The feel is very sturdy and qualitative. The stand function works better than Apple’s original folio actually. Even though I don’t love the semi-see through look of the back plate, it snaps on perfectly to my 9,7” iPad Pro 2016 and it both protects the back and there’s no risk for the magnets to fall off like the original version did every now and then.I very much recommend this product.
