I purchased this Night Owl security camera power adapter to power a fifth security camera for a system I purchased here on Amazon. The charger comes in a labeled bag and is easy to plug in and get working. I didn’t have any problems with it, and it powered my camera without issue. Its been running for three weeks without issue. You get what you pay for.
Is a nice unit if you have older analog cameras or if you want to use you old analog wiring. Simple, plug and play. But even with ye 1T hard drive, if you want to record 24/7 your only going to get about 5 1/2 days of recording before the hard drive is full, major bummer there.

Original Night Owl 12v camera power supply lasted 4 yr. – replacement works good so far
The original 12-volt 4-way split camera power supply included with my Night Owl DVR system worked good for about 4 yr. but then the cameras began getting flickering horizontal lines in the video. Replacing it with one of these fixed the issue. Been using for weeks continuous so far – no issues.

UPDATE: good customer service. Refunded and I’ll order another one. I bumped it to 3 stars for that.Needed these power splitters to connect my cameras. I lost the original. At first they worked ok, not a solid connection but once it was set it was fine. Lately I notice distortion in cameras. Once I started messing with the power cables trying to get a solid connection, all the cams started cutting in and out. Now that I at least have them all showing a picture, most of the cams quality is very grainy and terrible. I’ll see if I can exchange or return, but probably too late. Problems started 2 weeks in.
