charger is very . convenient , easy to use and the colors make it really cool. nice accent in any room but my teenager loves the way it looks . I like it doesn’t take very much space and kinda displays the quest.. No, is it it’s a shaver. It looks like the machine is picking

Almost perfect, minus a short cable.
Ordered this for my Meta Quest 3 and thought the price was too good to be true. It wasn’t! This is punctuated by gaining rechargeable batteries and easy charging for the controllers.The charging stand and rests for the controllers are super intuitive and once you install the grip plate (provided) they nest easily into the stand and the LED light changes to indicate the connection is good and it’s charging. I didn’t have to adjust how they sat or maneuver them at all to get them seated and charging. If it was just for controllers, it would easily be a 10/10 product.To charge the headset, they provide magnetic USB C adapters that fit in the port of headset to allow for easy connection to the provided cable that is hardwired to the dock. The biggest flaw is that, like most users, I have upgraded the back strap to a halo-like strap that is heavier and causes it to be difficult to set in the dock the way it is intended. This wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t for the extremely short charging cable. It appears they made the cable the perfect length to stretch to the headset if it were docked exactly as intended. This means that if the headset isn’t docked perfectly, there is no play for the connection. While the magnets are strong enough, if you bump or move the headset in the dock, the lack of play in the cable may make it come unconnected. – The fix for this was for us to remove the back strap of the quest when charging, resulting in everything working perfect.Quite pleased overall with the dock! For those that use the default head strap this is a perfect addition. For those that have an upgraded strap, you may have to maneuver it a bit to get it to work as intended but still well worth the trouble!

The charging/display dock comes in quite a small box and the unit has quite a small footprint. No charger is included. But, instructions are given on what kind of power output can be used.The set includes some rechargeable batteries. These are specific to this unit. You can’t use any other regular rechargeables. Using the charger means replacing your existing battery covers with the special magnetic ones which are also included.One thing to note is that you can’t use controller covers as they will prevent the controllers making a connection. I do have some, so have to put the safety covers on after the controllers have been charged.I also have a cover on my headset. This didn’t interfere with positioning too much, but because I have a backstrap with battery strap, this did mean that it didn’t sit wholly as possibly as intended. But it still works.The controllers magnetically connect to the base unit. It’s not a powerful grip and it’s worth spending a moment to ensure that a good connection has been made.The dock has a lighting system which is quite useful and adaptable. There’s a colour for charging and a different colour when it’s charged. You can use a little button to change from a ‘breathing’ mode to a more static one if you choose. The light is on constantly which might bother some people.In summary, fit for purpose when using the Quest 3 native strap. Would have been nice to have a choice of regular rechargeables to perhaps use a higher capacity so your controllers last longer.
