Using in a dual monitor setup
I recieved this as a gift. I use it a lot for Photoshop with the DP output ot a monitor and the HDMI to the TV. This works really well for 2 monitors. When my computer boots up, it is on the HDMI output until Windows loads and it switches to the DP output as the primary. I am quite happy with it as it works well and is quiet I am unaware of the fan. This was gift so I am not a listed buyer. I had another version of this chip set which was implemented differently. I much prefer the Gigabyte implementation. Only negative (and not a major one) is if I turn it on and the TV is not on, it still uses the HDMI input and I can see nothing during bootup. Also it will not find the TY afterward. Turn on the TV first and no problems.
