Very Satisfied With The Version I Purchased…
Upon reading lots of reviews, I came to the conclusion, it depends on which one of these power adapters you purchase as to how satisfied you will be. The one I purchased is an almost exact replacement for the original power adapter that came with my Netgear Router. I’m one of those that ascribes to the theory that, just because the power supply went out, do not throw away a $ 80.00 router that is functioning perfectly. So, if you are looking for a power adapter for a Netgear WebSafe RP416 v4 router? This one most definitely works. (Since this router is no longer available, those that know will understand the implied benefits of keeping it working.) My previous power adapter was function perfectly and didn’t fail as much as was rendered useless by Grandkids playful antics accomplished failure. I’m sure there are those that have had to deal with similar situations. Extremely happy to have found this one (and will most definitely order again…soon…just in case of future GK intervention!).

The power adapter was well packed and works straight away as plugged into power outlet. Used for various hobby projects and no problems with the power output. Using one for a car stereo hobby.I have purchased 5 already only had one issue with one which was a problem with my receptacle that malfunction.Customer service was excellent and replaced the power supply without issue.

Performs as expected
I have a couple of pumps that required 3A power and I only had 1A on hand, so the pump would energize but not move water. I picked this supply up to see if it would make a difference. Pump works as expected with this supply connected so I am quite pleased. So long as it stays reliable, it’s a perfect solution to my problem. Recommended.

Cord way too short, blinding blue LED light.
The cord on this is only about 2ft long. Making it pretty much useless for anything you want to have on a table or desk or further than 2ft from the wall. It also has a SUPER bright piercing blue LED on it that shines when it is plugged in. It’s very bright, brighter than any other LED on any other piece of equipment I have. I could light a whole bedroom in the dark by itself.I actually hate this thing and will be throwing it away.

These adapters work good. The only downside is there is a blue light on the adapter when plugged in. I was using one for a lighted house display, and did not want the extra light. A pieced of black tape solved the problem.

5 VDC 2 Amp Wall warts
This is my second order of these wall warts. They work as described, I am using some to power Cisco desk phones and one wired into a Sound bar that died due to internal 5 V DC power supply failure.The price is very reasonable.

Not good for Bitaxe
Bought this to replace my original power supply after it randomly failed. I could increase the frequency and core voltage above the defaults for a better hash rate with my original but can’t with this one. If I go above defaults it crashes the miner in minutes. Unfortunately, this power supply also can’t seem to handle the defaults for even 24 hours before causing the miner to reboot. Seems the supply of power isn’t stable enough for my Bitaxe. Probably fine for powering a light or charging a battery but I wouldn’t use this on any sort of computing device

5v 2A is a very common type of ‘Walwort’ adapter. Locally the same thing is nearly 2x the price. They may last a year or two in my 24/7 application and for the price that’s OK.
